This room rental is located in a bed and breakfast at a working horse ranch in Pine, Colorado—perfect for a romantic getaway for two outside of the big city of Denver. The room is decorated in New Mexican artisanship, including beautiful Chimayo rugs and handmade drums. Throughout the room, the walls have been done in an adobe style, the ceiling is made of latilla poles, and the doors are hand-carved.

In the bedroom, guests will find a king-size feather bed, and there is a Kiva fireplace with sheepskin rugs in front of—the ideal spot to curl up after a full day of exploring. What's more? There is a whirlpool bathtub for two that tired muscles will be very happy to take advantage of, too. In addition, the room boasts a private, full bathroom, and all linens and towels are provided.

A full breakfast is served daily at 8 a.m. at no additional cost.

This working horse ranch and bed and breakfast welcome its guests with soothing music, freshly baked cookies, complimentary beverages, candles, and flowers. In the main room, there is a fireplace in which a cozy fire is typically roaring away, and outside, on the back deck of the property, there is a shared hot tub where guests can go for a leisurely soak as they practice their amateur stargazing skills.

A full breakfast is served every day at 8 a.m. If guests require an earlier or later breakfast, they can inquire with the host.

Horseback riding is a major activity, both at this working horse ranch and nearby. The hosts have a special-use outfitter and guide permit for the trails within the Pike National Forest and are happy to point guests interested in trail riding in the right direction. Indoor riding lessons are offered at the property by the extremely knowledgeable and experienced hosts for an extra fee, but guests are welcome to come learn any and everything they've ever wanted to know about horses from the host. Guests can observe lessons, horse-shoeing, and horse training, and they can even help with the horse chores, if they so desire, such as cleaning the stalls and grooming the horses. Other activities include hiking, bird watching, exploring the flower gardens and nearby pond and waterfall, and more.

Off-site, guests can simply enjoy the mountainous wooded areas near Pine, such as the aforementioned Pike National Forest and the Pine Valley Open Space Park, in addition to visiting Buffalo Creek and parts of the Colorado Trail and fly fishing on the South Platte River. While in Pine, glampers certainly can't miss bellying up to the bar at the historic Bucksnort Saloon, and if they plan their trip accordingly, they can enjoy the town's annual Rhubarb Festival in summer.
