Description of Glamping Units
This cozy cabin is located near Red Cliff on the edge of French Mountain in Colorado and can accommodate four guests. The accommodation has a full-size bed and extra mattresses, sleeping a maximum of four guests. Sleeping bags are provided, but guests should bring their own sleeping bag liners. Guests should also bring their own waste disposal bags, which can be used with the folding NRS toilet at the cabin. There is a solar shower at the cabin, and the essentials are provided.
There is a small fireplace inside the cabin. Guests should bring their own 6-inch logs if they would like to make use of this. Guests should also bring their own food and water. There is a two-burner propane stove and another one-burner stove. Pots, pans, and utensils are also available for guests to use. Guests should bring green Coleman propane fuel for the two-burner stove and jetboil, MSR, or snowpeak fuel for the one-burner stove.
Outside, there is a fire pit for which guests should bring logs between eight inches and 16 inches in length, as well as checking local fire pans for Eagle County and White River National Forest.
Guests should note that in summer and fall, the hike into the cabin is about 2.5 miles in summer, unless guests have a 4x4 for off-roading with winch lift, 33-inch tires and lift, in which case they can drive to the property. There is heating at the property, provided by the small fireplace inside the cabin (guests must bring their own wood). Running water is available outside the cabin during summer and fall at the stream (to be filtered). The whole cabin plus approximately a 30-foot surrounding area is all open for guest access. A fire pit outside is a great way to wind down and warm up after a long day of exploring the ski trails.

This cozy backcountry cabin is located near Red Cliff, Colorado, and is surrounded by some of the most popular winter sports locations in the U.S. There is a huge variety of skiing, hiking, and climbing just out the door of the cabin. Surrounded by trees and views and located right in the middle of the wilderness, this cozy ski cabin is in a fantastic location to really get away from it all and reconnect with nature. Some of the most beautiful scenery in the country, including destinations such as Aspen with the Independence Pass and Maroon Lake Scenic Trail, are great excuses for guests to get out and explore the local area. Nova Guides in Red Cliff offer year-round outdoor adventures, with Jeep tours, ATV tours and rentals, and guided fishing trips being just a small selection of the activities on offer. Paintball, mountain biking, archery, and guided snowmobile and snowcat tours are all up for grabs when visiting the area.
As if that weren’t enough, Colorado Backcountry Rentals also offer ATV and Side by Side rentals, just minutes from the Vail and Beaver Creek ski resorts. The Vail Mountain Resort offers more than 5,289 acres of downhill and cross-country trails, and the beautiful Betty Ford Alpine Gardens are located at the foot of Vail Mountain, perfect for a more relaxing day. In Aspen, Independence Pass offers indescribable beauty for some incredible scenic drives. The area is full of opportunities to get out and explore the outdoors.

No smoking is allowed on the property. No parties, commercial uses, or events are allowed either (except by prior written permission), and this property is not suitable for children under six years old.
There is no parking at the property unless guests have an off-road capable vehicle. Public parking at USFS trailheads is available.
