This glamping cabin is the perfect way to relax after a long day of roughing it in the mountains. For relaxing, the unit has its own sauna, plenty of games, and two decks that overlook the beautiful, mountainous terrain. The cabin will be kept warm because it includes two wood-burning stoves, along with solar powered in-floor heating.

There are a total of 16 spaces in the cabin, including private rooms and individual spots. Couples and groups are encouraged to rent whole rooms for more space or privacy. For information about what to book and sleeping capacity, please read individual descriptions below.

Entire Hut :
This rents out the entire hut, which comfortably sleeps up to 16 people.

Individual spot :
This spot sleeps one and there are 16 of these spaces available.

Private room with three beds :
This room sleeps three and there are two of these available.

Private Room with five beds :
This room sleeps five and there are two of these available.

(The private rooms can be booked by asking for either a "Private room for three" or a "Private room for five," no matter the number of guests staying.)

Guests will be provided with pillows, mattresses, and blankets. Bathrooms are equipped with running water and indoor composting toilets. However, for ultimate comfort, guests are asked to bring their own headlamp, hut slippers, and bag liners or sheets.

Cancellation policy

  • As long as you cancel at least 30 days before check-in, you will receive a 50% refund minus our service fee.
  • If you cancel within 30 days of check-in, the host does not offer a refund.
  • If you cancel after check-in, any refund will be at the host's discretion (and will not include the service fee).

Additional Information

Rates are based on single occupancy. There is a $40 per person, per night rate for a meal package that includes: apres ski soup, dinner, and breakfast the next morning.

In the summer months, one can drive to within 1/4 mile of the hut. In the winter (November – April) the road closes and it’s a 3.5 mile hike/skin. This can be arranged with the host after confirmation.

Inexperienced skiers and those new to the traveling in a mountainous terrain prone to avalanche conditions should hire a local guide in the winter to access the site. Groups cancellations due to an avalanche danger rating of High or Extreme (as forecast by the Colorado Avalanche Information Center) will be given full credit towards another date. This credit expires within a year.

Because the hut is a licensed tavern in the state of Colorado, any personal alcohol is not permitted at the hut. Read more
