Weston is a small place that lies close to the southern border into New Mexico, and is somewhere defined by desert and grasslands that many people visit when they are looking to reconnect with nature. It is somewhere that lies close to some stunning natural attractions, which have enough outdoor recreation options to fill more than just one camping trip. Head to Culebra Peak to see historically rich land that has views over the whole area, and follow the many trails that run over Trinchera Peak. Spanish Peaks State Wildlife Area is the perfect place to go wildlife spotting, and Trinidad Lake is a great place to stop and take in the lakeside views after a long few hours hiking through the surrounding wilderness.
