Additional info

There are a few things to be prepared for that will be different than a hotel stay.

- WILDLIFE. Although most Grizzly bears are found inside the national park, they do travel great distances, have a great sense of smell, and are very curious. We don’t want to give them a reason to be curious about what you have in your tent.
So our #1 rule at this glamping site is no food, deodorant, toothpaste, or anything else with a strong scent inside the tents ever. Please leave your food inside your car with the windows shut. Also, we include 1 can of bear spray inside each tent. Please consider this a weapon and do not discharge it at another human ever. It is for your own protection against bears only and should only be used as a last resort if you feel threatened.

- TENT USE. When you arrive, you’ll find each of the fold-out beds in the sitting position with all the sheets/comforters put away inside your tent's linen chest. This is so everyone can sit down and relax after their travels. Please note it is the guest's responsibility to fold out the bed and put on the sheets when you’re ready for bed. If you have problems with the furniture, please call our staff and they will help. Before checkout, we kindly ask that you leave the sheets out so we can know which ones need to be cleaned.

We have off-grid mini solar power stations for each unit. You just need to power it on to use it.
We supply heaters to every unit, some of those are wood fire heaters for units that have a stove jack, and others have propane heaters. To start them, follow the simple instructions in the tent.

- HEATERS. Because most of the year it doesn’t get cold enough to need a heater, and many guests prefer to sleep in a cool room, we don’t supply the fuel for those heaters with your stay. Propane ($20) or locally sourced, hand-chopped, firewood ($10/bundle) can be purchased directly from our check-in center, or you can bring your own.

- OPTIONAL EXTRAS. You may want some optional extras, these can be purchased on-site, or through the link in your booking confirmation
They include:
$10 - Pack and Play rental (We suggest you reserve this in advance as we have a limited quantity of these and they are first come first serve)
$50 - Additional bear spray
$20 - Bug spray
Various pre-packaged snacks
Basic camping items
