This unique cabin rental is the perfect getaway rental for couples or a small family. Set 12 miles south of Riggins, Idaho, the cabin is near to Little Salmon River, and nestled in between both the Payette National Forest and the Wallowa-Whitman National Forest.

The cabin has two separate rooms. One has a queen-size bed and the other has a twin bed. The cabin has been well furnished with rustic twists. There is also a new, modern bathroom in the cabin with a shower and a washbasin. It has a kitchenette with everything guests need to prepare meals each day, including a microwave and a fridge.

Outside, there are various picnic tables for guests to enjoy on a sunny day. The river runs alongside the rental, so guests can be at a great fishing spot or even a swimming hole in no time. This idyllic location is the perfect spot for guests to get away from it all and enjoy a peaceful vacation.

The cabin has been well equipped to ensure guests have a comfortable stay. It is fully furnished including a microwave and a refrigerator in the kitchenette. There is air conditioning and a newly installed heating unit. Bedding and linens are all provided. There is Wi-Fi available onsite and a phone for emergencies as well.

With no TV and minimal cell service, guests will have more reason to get out and enjoy the great outdoors.

This is the ideal location for those who enjoy heading into the great outdoors for some woodland explorations or some river adventures. Both the Payette National Forest and the Wallowa-Whitman National Forest offer visitors numerous stunning trails that lead to some stunning viewpoints. Guests don't have to explore this amazing area on foot. Instead, they can enjoy these trails on bikes, or even on horseback, and for a unique view of the area, there are helicopter tours available. With the river being so close, there are lots of opportunities to enjoy activities such as fishing, kayaking and canoeing, boat tours, and even white water rafting. During the winter months, this is a fantastic area to head out on snowmobiles and explore these fantastic snow-covered forests. Just 45 minutes drive from the rental is Brundage Mountain. Here, guests can carve their way through the snow on skis or snowboards. There are several nearby events through the year that guests can attend. In February and March, there is the Steelhead Fishing Derby, in April the Salmon River Jet Boat Races take place, and in May there is the Riggins Rodeo.
