Guests will love being so close to the alpine waters of Lake Pend Oreille. The lake is perfect for fishing, boating, or paddleboarding. At Sandpoint City Beach, glampers can soak in the sandy shores or use one of the slips to take a boat out on the water. The beach is perfect for families, with great facilities like a large picnic area and playgrounds. A trip to Sandpoint would not be complete without a visit to Schweitzer Mountain Resort in the Selkirk Mountains, where ski season runs from early December to Early April. The resort boasts 92 trails, 32 kilometers of cross-country trails, open bowl skiing, tubing, and twilight skiing. In summer, the resort keeps the trails open for hiking, mountain biking, and huckleberry picking. For a day of thrills, Silverwood Theme Park is just 30 miles away.
