Guests are kindly asked to remove their shoes upon entry in the accommodation. The accommodation has a delicate septic system, so guests are asked to not flush anything other than septic-safe toilet paper. The host asks that guests do not use the garbage disposal in the sink, to clean all plates off into the provided garbage bin before washing, and to not put excess food down the drain.
In addition, the host asks guests to not leave wet items on any wood surfaces and to keep the garden gates closed at all times (they have been put in place to keep the local wildlife from eating the flowers). Guests are also asked to keep noise to a minimum after 10 p.m., and the wood in the wood shed is not for guests to use.
Guests are advised to look up the local fire regulations for their stay, as starting a fire during high fire season is illegal. Those who choose to fish on or near the property must have a local permit, which can be easily obtained at the Ferndale Market.
The host's check-out instructions are as follows:
1. Please place all dishes in the dishwasher and run on departure.
2. Please remove all rubbish from waste baskets. Place in sealed garbage bags in potting shed upon departure.
