This comfortable log cabin rental in Butte, Montana, is the ideal accommodation for a fly fishing getaway on Big Hole River—known for its prime fishing conditions. The cabin is located on a 1,800-acre, family-owned ranch that boasts 3.5 miles of private riverfront access for guests to enjoy, and there are multiple boat ramps along the river, as well as fly shops and guide services nearby. There is also a fully stocked pond!

Inside, the cabin can sleep up to five guests and features two bedrooms, one of which is an open loft. The first bedroom has a queen-size bed, while the loft boasts three twin beds. In addition, there is a full bathroom, and all linens and towels are provided.

In the living room, there is a flat-screen television with satellite TV and a DVD player, and the fully equipped kitchen comes with a microwave, an oven, a refrigerator, a stove, a toaster, an assortment of pantry items, and all necessary cookware and tableware. Outside, guests will find a covered deck with outdoor furniture and a barbecue for grilling out.

The property has its own fully stocked fishing pond just at the back of the lodge, and fly fishermen who are just learning will be able to throw a few casts here or more experienced fishermen can fish leisurely here. There are many boat ramps both upriver and downriver from the lodge for floating and fishing. There is also a newly installed washer and dryer to keep gear fresh. To ensure a comfortable stay the lodge has heating, and a satellite flat-screen TV and DVD player.

This property is the perfect place for a fishing getaway, in particular for fly fishing and freshwater fishing. The river holds healthy wild populations of brook, rainbow and brown trout, and native mountain whitefish. The well known Beaverhead, Ruby, Jefferson, and Wise Rivers are also an easy day trip for fishermen. There are several fly shops and guiding services in the area. There are plenty of other activities available on the rivers such as paddle boating, rafting, and swimming. For a beautiful hike, glampers can explore hundreds of miles of trails nearby in the Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest. Guests can also tour the battlegrounds of the Big Hole National Battlefield along the Nez Perce Trail and learn about the history of the Nez Perce tribe. Old Works is the closest golf course and is 46 miles away.
