This spacious log cabin has prime fishing in the Big Hole River of Montana on its doorstep and can accommodate six guests. There are two bedrooms and one full bathroom. The master bedroom has a queen-size bed, and in the open upstairs loft, there are three full-size beds and one single bed. Linens and towels are provided. The lodge has beautiful rustic interiors with traditional exposed stacked timber logs and wood-paneled ceilings. In the living room, guests will find a sofa, two armchairs, a flat-screen satellite TV, and a DVD player. The fully equipped kitchen contains a stove, a refrigerator, an oven, a microwave, a coffee maker, a toaster, as well as dishes, utensils, and pantry essentials. The dining area has can seat five guests comfortably. Outside there is a deck and a grill for cookouts with propane provided.

The property has its own fully stocked fishing pond just at the back of the lodge, and fly fishermen who are just learning will be able to throw a few casts here or more experienced fishermen can fish leisurely here. There are many boat ramps both upriver and downriver from the lodge for floating and fishing. There is also a newly installed washer and dryer to keep gear fresh. To ensure a comfortable stay the lodge has heating, and a satellite flat-screen TV and DVD player.

This property is the perfect place for a fishing getaway, in particular for fly fishing and freshwater fishing. The river holds healthy wild populations of brook, rainbow and brown trout, and native mountain whitefish. The well known Beaverhead, Ruby, Jefferson, and Wise Rivers are also an easy day trip for fishermen. There are several fly shops and guiding services in the area. There are plenty of other activities available on the rivers such as paddle boating, rafting, and swimming. For a beautiful hike, glampers can explore hundreds of miles of trails nearby in the Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest. Guests can also tour the battlegrounds of the Big Hole National Battlefield along the Nez Perce Trail and learn about the history of the Nez Perce tribe. Old Works is the closest golf course and is 46 miles away.
