Guests have also access to horseback riding, for those 12 years and older, at a rate of $40.00 per person per hour. For half a day of riding it is $120.00 per person, which is equal to four daylight hours. And for a full eight-hour day of riding it is $220.00 per person.
During the winter months, guests can rent snowmobiles to explore the stunning surroundings. For a half-day rental, equal to four daylight hours, the price is $200.00, and for one double snowmobile, suitable for two riders, the price is $275.00. To hire one single snowmobile for a full day, equal to eight daylight hours, and including lunch, the price is $275.00 per person. For two riders on one double snowmobile, for a full day with lunch is $350.00. There is a refundable $500.00 deposit on equipment if it is all returned unharmed, plus a 4% tax.
Additionally, guests at the ranch can pay for amenities such as lodge showers for $3.50 each, sleeping bag rental for $5.00 each per day, bagged ice for $2.00 each, and firewood for $5.00 per wheelbarrow.
For those with animals, outside corrals are available for $10.00 per day, and an inside barn horse stall for a private stock is also available for $20.00 per day, however, guests should provide their own feed and water.
Guests should note that when boarding their horse, the horse owner must provide to the stable copies of written proof of the horse(s) the following:
*Up-to-date tetanus, influenza, and sleeping sickness vaccinations
*Brand Inspection documents
*Certificate of negative Coggins

The property is minutes away from mountain streams, nature trails and is rich with wildlife. Guests can access the St Regis River, which lies just opposite the property. The Lolo National Forest sits adjacent to the ranch and the famous Hiawatha trail is conveniently located just 20 miles away. If guests want to venture out a bit further, the iconic Glacier National Park can be reached in approximately three hours by car.

This traditional high country/mountain guest ranch and the surrounding area offer a plethora of different activities to ensure visitors have an unforgettable and memorable experience in De Borgia. On the property, guests have access to horseback riding around the vast 40-acre ranch. Those interested in hunting and angling can be accommodated in drop camps in the Lolo National Forest.
Guests can take part in a scenic or fishing river rafting experience on the nearby Clark Fork River, or bring bicycles to tackle the numerous surrounding trails such as the famous Hiawatha Trail. Additional popular trails include the Crystal Lake Trail, the Cameron Peak Trail, and the Storm Peak Trail, to name just a few. Other activities include Chuckwagon barbecues and cookouts, and horse-drawn wagon hayrides to enjoy in the warm summer months.
During the winter months, this is the perfect spot for snowsports lovers, with the opportunity of renting snowmobiles, as well as skis and snowboards at the nearby Lookout Ski Lodge. For something a little less strenuous, guests can go for a picturesque horse-drawn sleigh ride.
Guests can take advantage of the nearby Lolo National Forest for an outdoor adventure and spot some fantastic wildlife. The Glacier National Park and the Kootenae National Park may also be of interest to guests and are ideal spots to take some excellent photos.
