This charming getaway is ideal for up 11 guests enjoy a vacation near Lolo National Forest in Montana. Glampers will have part of a bunkhouse rental sleeps which has a bathroom, a full kitchen, a TV with dish network, a full dining room, and a living room.

Outside, there is a large handmade log picnic table and benches surrounding a fire ring, perfect for evening fireside chats. Guests also have access to the main lodge area where they can dine with the other guests or enjoy a game of pool after a day out exploring.

At the property, there is a community gathering place known as the lodge. It is large enough to seat 80 for dinner, or cozy enough for guests to relax in front of the fireplace. Dish television is available in the lodge or glampers can challenge someone to a game of pool.

For large groups, the commercial kitchen is available for rent.

Guests can hire Chuckwagons for barbecues or photo opportunities for $100 each per day. The lodge with a commercial kitchen can be hired by families and groups for a private party, with rates as follows; $150.00 to hire from one to four hours, $300.00 for eight hours, $400.00 for 12 hours, and $500.00 for 24 hours. The set-up fee for 50 guests is $150.00, with tables and 50 chairs provided. No linens are provided and there is a $150 refundable deposit if it is left clean with no damage.

Guests have also access to horseback riding, for those 12 years and older, at a rate of $40.00 per person per hour. For half a day of riding it is $120.00 per person, which is equal to four daylight hours. And for a full eight-hour day of riding it is $220.00 per person.

During the winter months, guests can rent snowmobiles to explore the stunning surroundings. For a half-day rental, equal to four daylight hours, the price is $200.00, and for one double snowmobile, suitable for two riders, the price is $275.00. To hire one single snowmobile for a full day, equal to eight daylight hours, and including lunch, the price is $275.00 per person. For two riders on one double snowmobile, for a full day with lunch is $350.00. There is a refundable $500.00 deposit on equipment if it is all returned unharmed, plus a 4% tax.

Additionally, guests at the ranch can pay for amenities such as lodge showers for $3.50 each, sleeping bag rental for $5.00 each per day, bagged ice for $2.00 each, and firewood for $5.00 per wheelbarrow.

For those with animals, outside corrals are available for $10.00 per day, and an inside barn horse stall for a private stock is also available for $20.00 per day, however, guests should provide their own feed and water.
Guests should note that when boarding their horse, the horse owner must provide to the stable copies of written proof of the horse(s) the following:

*Up-to-date tetanus, influenza, and sleeping sickness vaccinations
*Brand Inspection documents
*Certificate of negative Coggins

This hidden gem of a property can be found in De Borgia in west Montana, surrounded by national forests boasting fantastic scenery. The nearest private airport is Mineral County Airport in Superior, MT, which is 30 miles east. The property is located about 110 miles east of Spokane and approximately a two-hour drive from the Spokane Airport. It is 85 miles east of Coeur D'Alene, which takes approximately one hour and 15 minutes by automobile. The property is also located 85 miles west of Missoula, with a driving time of approximately one hour and 10 minutes from the Missoula Airport. It is situated 18 miles east of the Montana/Idaho Panhandle border on the Interstate 90, one mile east of Exit 18.

The property is minutes away from mountain streams, nature trails and is rich with wildlife. Guests can access the St Regis River, which lies just opposite the property. The Lolo National Forest sits adjacent to the ranch and the famous Hiawatha trail is conveniently located just 20 miles away. If guests want to venture out a bit further, the iconic Glacier National Park can be reached in approximately three hours by car.

This traditional high country/mountain guest ranch and the surrounding area offer a plethora of different activities to ensure visitors have an unforgettable and memorable experience in De Borgia. On the property, guests have access to horseback riding around the vast 40-acre ranch. Those interested in hunting and angling can be accommodated in drop camps in the Lolo National Forest.

Guests can take part in a scenic or fishing river rafting experience on the nearby Clark Fork River, or bring bicycles to tackle the numerous surrounding trails such as the famous Hiawatha Trail. Additional popular trails include the Crystal Lake Trail, the Cameron Peak Trail, and the Storm Peak Trail, to name just a few. Other activities include Chuckwagon barbecues and cookouts, and horse-drawn wagon hayrides to enjoy in the warm summer months.

During the winter months, this is the perfect spot for snowsports lovers, with the opportunity of renting snowmobiles, as well as skis and snowboards at the nearby Lookout Ski Lodge. For something a little less strenuous, guests can go for a picturesque horse-drawn sleigh ride.

Guests can take advantage of the nearby Lolo National Forest for an outdoor adventure and spot some fantastic wildlife. The Glacier National Park and the Kootenae National Park may also be of interest to guests and are ideal spots to take some excellent photos.

Additional Information

$25.00 per day non-refundable deposit is required for all cabin reservations. $75.00 per day deposit for bunkhouse; 24-hour cancellation notice required. If guests wish to guarantee late arrival (after 3 p.m.), their credit card will be charged for the first night stay whether or not they arrive. All deposits can be made by check, cash or credit card. Any deposits by check must be deposited by the host a minimum of 30 days in advance of the event, giving time for the check to clear necessary banking institutions. If the check does not clear by 15 days prior to the event, the host is authorized to charge the credit card for the required deposit amount.

Pets are allowed on this property at a charge of $5.00 per day.

All prices: plus 7% lodging tax and 3% credit card fee.

Federal holidays are two-night minimum.
