Those looking to travel up or down the river can hire a boat on-site. For a more personalized service, glampers can take part in a guided tour of the river’s fishing sites, arranged by the hosts.
Less than 15 minutes’ drive from the resort, the mesmerizing Bighorn Canyon stands 1000-feet above the stunning Bighorn Lake. Amazing views can be had from the top of the canyon or there is the option to boat, kayak or canoe through the lake while gazing up at the massive walls.
Guests can choose from over 17 miles of hiking trails within the Bighorn Canyon Recreational Area. Those taking a stroll can try and glimpse wild horses or some of the other fascinating wildlife. Hunting is permitted in some areas of the park. For glampers seeking a more relaxed pace, the Yellowtail Dam Visitors Center hosts displays and exhibitions throughout the summer months.
