No trip to a ranch is complete without indulging in horseback riding. A day out on the horses consists of exploring the 1800 acres of the ranch. A skilled outfitter will assist in riding along the Big Hole River and through many hay meadows with a riverside stop for lunch. Experienced riders are given the opportunity to ride horses into the mountains behind the Grand Lodge.
