The Beaverhead River is also a Blue Ribbon Trout Stream, a narrow winding river, which stretches along willows. This particular river is best for catching huge rainbow and brown trout. Hunting
No trip to a ranch is complete without indulging in horseback riding. A day out on the horses consists of exploring the 1800 acres of the ranch. A skilled outfitter will assist in riding along the Big Hole River and through many hay meadows with a riverside stop for lunch. Experienced riders are given the opportunity to ride horses into the mountains behind the Grand Lodge. Here, riders will be greeted with stunning sights of the valley with the Pioneer Mountains making for an incredible backdrop.
