This romantic log cabin is located above Lake Koocanusa in Rexford, Montana, and can accommodate two guests--making it perfect for couples and honeymooners. There is one bedroom and one full bathroom. The log cabin has loads of character with of Amish built features like the log ladder leading to the lofted bedroom with a comfortable full-sized bed. In the downstairs bathroom, guests will find a toilet, a sink, and a shower. Linens and towels are provided.
This log cabin is rustic and simplistic throughout for guests who want a peaceful trip back to basics. In the living room, guests will find a sofa that folds out to a futon, a TV, and an old-fashioned wood-burning stove. The kitchen is adjacent the living area and is fully-equipped with everything needed to prepare a stress-free meal and includes a refrigerator, a microwave, a four-burner stove, an oven, a Keurig coffeemaker, and plenty of cookware and dishes.
Outside, there is a grill and a deck that overlooks the lake and the surrounding mountains. The final and perhaps the most important feature of the cabin is the private gazebo and Jacuzzi. Guests can sink into the private, outdoor hot tub after a long day of hiking and exploring and let themselves relax fully in the solitude of the surrounding nature.
This log cabin proves that great things come in small packages and has everything guests need an nothing they don't to help them relax and get away from it all. There's a small wood burning stove in this cabin as well as a log ladder leading up to a loft. There is a TV in the living room and a phone for local calls. Outside, there is a deck and a grill. The best feature of this cabin has to be the private Jacuzzi inside the gazebo.

The lakes, creeks, and rivers that weave through the surrounding Canadian Rocky Mountains offer fantastic fly and freshwater fishing that will delight any angler. At Lake Kooncanusa, guests can enjoy fun and sun on the beach in addition to fishing, kayaking, canoeing, and paddleboarding. In the nearby mountains of Kootenai National Forest, climbers have an array of options such as Robinson Mountain, Mt. Henry, and Boulder Mountain. Outdoors enthusiasts can also take day trips to Glacier Park for hiking, scenic drives, fishing, boating, wildlife viewing, and more. Guests will want to bring their cameras to the park’s Lake McDonald with its mirrored waters and its rainbow stone beach.
The nearby town of Eureka has the Tobacco Valley Historic Village with a collection of local historic buildings from as far back as the late 1880’s and early 1900’s. A short distance from the village is the Tobacco River and guests can follow its course on Eureka Kootenai Rails to Trails or the Eureka Riverwalk Trail.
