Providing a peaceful garden setting in which guests can enjoy soaking in a hot tub after a day full of outdoor adventure, this cozy cottage is located on a quiet street just two blocks from Main Street in Moab, Utah, offering convenient access to both downtown Moab and the stunning landscape, scenic parks, and outdoor recreation areas that surround it. The cottage can accommodate two guests in a cozy, artistically designed, and tastefully decorated space, making it perfect for a romantic getaway. Inside, guests will find a studio-style interior that combines a bedroom with a kitchen, as well as a loft. The cottage also provides guests with two full bathrooms, one of which is inside, the other of which is outside.
The sleeping area of the studio features a queen-size bed that is snuggly tucked away into a nook, with full or partial walls on three sides and a ladder leading up to the loft in front of the fourth, providing a balanced sense of separation and connection with the rest of the room. In the loft, guests will find a twin-size mattress with ample pillows, serving as a daybed and a cozy space to relax. The fully-equipped kitchen comes with a refrigerator, a two-burner stove, a microwave, a stove, cookware, and a bar with two stools.
Other amenities include Wi-Fi, cable television, and air conditioning. Linens, towels, and toiletries are provided. Outside, guests will find a private patio with a table, chairs, and umbrella, as well as a communal patio shared with the three other cottages with which the cottage forms a compound. At the latter, guests will find more tables and chairs, a barbecue grill, a chiminea, and a hot tub, all surrounded by gardens, trees, and fencing, providing ample shade, privacy, and tranquility.
This cottage is part of a compound that includes three other cottages. Each cottage has its own private outdoor space/patio, and they also share a communal patio. At the latter, guests will find a barbecue grill, outdoor tables and chairs, a chiminea, and a hot tub in a gardened, tree-dotted, and walled-in setting that provides plenty of shade, serenity, and seclusion. Within each cottage, guests will enjoy Wi-Fi, cable television, and air conditioning.

With two national parks within half an hour's driving distance from the cottage, guests will be well-positioned to enjoy a variety of outdoor activities. At Arches National Park, they can explore a spectacular landscape of more than 2,000 arches and other geological formations on 14 different hiking trails. These trails encompass a range of difficulty levels, from the undemanding, 0.3-mile Balanced Rock loop trail to the difficult, 7.2-mile Devils Garden Primitive Loop.
Guests can also go on guided walks and hikes with park rangers, and they can go on a variety of hiking, van, bus, 4x4, and photography tours with more than a dozen local companies, such as Adrift Adventures, Moab Photo Tours, and Tag-A-Long Expeditions.
At Canyonlands National Park, guests will find even more hiking trails, including four easy trails, five moderate difficulty trails, and nine difficult trails. This park is also a popular location for mountain biking, with the White Rim Road providing a 100-mile track winding around the Island in the Sky.
The Colorado River and the Green River weave through the park, eventually meeting each other at a confluence. The calm waters upstream of the confluence are perfect for canoeing, kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding, and scenic rafting, while the wilder waters downstream are ideal for whitewater rafting through Westwater Canyon and Cataract Canyon. Tours and rentals are available through a variety of local companies, such as Canyon Voyages.
Guests can go horseback riding on Ken's Lake Trail, Pack Creek Trail, Seven Mile Canyon Trail, Onion Creek Trail, with rides ranging from two to four and a half hours. Custom trail rides on the Moab Desert and along the Colorado River are also available through Moab Horses at Hauer Ranch.
For birdwatching, guests will find a variety of scenic birding locations, including Moon Flower Canyon, La Sal Mountain Loop Road, Fisher Mesa, Negro Bill Canyon, Colorado River Scenic Byway, and the Matheson Wetlands at the Scott M Matheson Preserve. At the latter's 875-acre wetland area, more than 225 bird species have been spotted, including plumeous vireos, indigo buntings, and yellow-breasted chats.
For exploring the geological formations of the landscape up-close, guests can go bouldering near the Big Bend Campground and along the Moab Canyon Pathway, canyoneering at Granary Canyon and Morning Glory, and climbing at numerous sites, such as the River Road Dihedrals, with guided climbs available through local companies such as Moab Base Adventures.
Other possibilities include skydiving with Sky Dive Moab, ATV riding with High Point Hummer and ATV, ballooning with Canyonlands Ballooning, and zip-lining with Raven's Rim Zipline Adventures.
