The different tents are spaced far apart, and each is furnished with a soft queen-size mattress and bedding. Nearby, there are warm showers and flushing toilets.

After a busy day exploring the stunning Canyonlands National Park, guests can chill out in their spacious tent rental, which boasts seating for two, area rugs, end tables, LED candles and 2 deck chairs outside. There's no Wi-Fi, meaning guests can properly unplug and unwind, and fresh tea or coffee is provided each morning.

Elsewhere on site is the communal outdoor cooking area where guests can prepare their meals and meet other like-minded travelers, and the communal fire ring is a great place to huddle around at night end enjoy some epic stargazing.

This Utah glamping site is located right off HWY 211, near the entrance to Canyonlands National Park and The Needles District. The small town of Monticello is 15 minutes away, as is Newspaper Rock. In 40 minutes, guests will find themselves at Canyonlands National Park, Arches National Park, and Moab. This is the only site that offers a true Glamping experience close to these park's entrances.

From the comfort of your tent, you have a view of a beautiful mesa. A 30 min self-guided nature walk will bring you right up to the base of this mesa. Stunning views of nearby rock formations and glampground.

This glampsite is an off grid property with four bell tents, one 16x24 ft canvas wall tent and one pod. Tents are furnished with a comfortable queen bed fitted with linens, extra blankets, seating for two, area rugs, string lights, board games, phone charging pack, 2 deck chairs, private firepit with grill top, shaded hammocks and a picnic table. Communal areas are 3 bathrooms (one with a glass roof), outdoor kitchen and sauna. Free coffee delivered, optional breakfast and strong WIFI.
*Safari Tent has a king bed, wood burning stove, table, reading books and art supplies.

Late check-ins are available. You will receive more information closer to your arrival date.

The closest tent neighbor you will have is approximately 50 yards away.

HOW TO GET HERE
Save these directions! There is a good chance you won't have service to reference this later. Load your GPS prior to leaving town. The drive to us is rural with no service.

-We are just .5 miles on the right as you make the turn from HWY 191 onto HWY 211.
-Pull into the gravel parking lot on the right hand side. You will see "private property, private drive" signs.
-There is no parking next to your tent. Use the 3 carts provided to move your luggage.
-Daylight arrivals: almost immediately when turning on HWY 211, you will see our canvas tents and buildings.
-Nighttime arrivals: you will see solar lights on the ground.

COMMUNAL BATHROOMS
The off grid solar powered bathroom is the building directly in front of the parking lot and next to the office. We have 1 full bathroom, 1 toilet room, 1 shower room and 1 seasonal glass roof barrel full bathroom (closed during freezing temps)
We also have limited water so please be mindful of your usage. We provide towels, hand towels, toilet paper and organic bath amenities.

COMMUNAL KITCHEN
The communal outdoor kitchen is located behind the bathroom and office. You will find a sink, a grill, a stovetop, pot, pans, plates, bowls, cups, cooking utensils, cutlery, can opener, wine opener, scissors, cutting boards, measuring cup, grilling supplies, s'mores sticks, seasonings, olive oil, cleaning sponge, dish soap, instant coffee, Tazo tea, hot cocoa, sugar, dry creamer and to-go cups. No power, outlets or microwave. We provide you with a cooler as we do not have a refrigerator. BRING ICE!
Attached to the kitchen are shaded picnic tables.
*The grocery store in Monticello (Blue Mountain Foods) is closed on Sundays.

ACCOMMODATIONS
-There is no insulation inside the accommodations so whatever the temperature is outside, it will be inside as well. The Pod holds the heat better than the tents.

These won't heat the space like at home but helps to take the chill out.

OTHER HELPFUL INFORMATION
WEATHER - We are located in Dry Valley. You will not find this on any map or weather app. Monticello, UT is the closest town with weather service and sits at 7000 feet above sea level. Moab, UT is the second town worth looking at, but sits at 4000 feet. The glampground sits at 6000 feet. Typically we are 3-5 degrees warmer than Monticello and 6-10 degrees cooler than Moab. But rules are meant to broken....

WIFI - Strong Wifi is available around the communal spaces and office. Do not count on service reaching to your tent. We do not have outlets to power laptops and you will be using the picnic tables as work spaces. If you would like to use the Wifi, please ask us for the password when you arrive.

SAUNA – 1 hour Complementary session each night of your stay. Four, 1 hour time slots are available starting at 4pm with 15 mins in between for cleaning. If interested, please sign up for your slot at the office.

WATER - Please bring your own drinking water. We do have water at the glampsite but this is water to run the bathroom and kitchen. We do not have unlimited water and haul 200 gallons of water per day to the glampsite, we ask everyone is water smart.

FIRES - The only fires allowed on the glampsite are campfires. No smoking of any kind allowed. However, we do allow smoking in the parking lot or in your vehicle. Butts must be completely out and not left on the ground. If seen, you will be asked to put it out and penalties will apply.
CANDLES - Candles are strictly prohibited in the tents. We provide LED candles and string lights to provide the same coziness while keeping safety and odor in mind.
CAMPFIRE - We sell firewood on site for $6.00. You may also bring your own. We DO NOT provide lighters.
*If there is a county fire band, no fires will be allowed. You may reach out to ask if there is one.

PETS – No pets allowed in any of our tents. Our new Sugarloaf Pod does allow for up to 2 dogs. You must be with your pet(s) at all time, they cannot be left alone, they must be on a leash, be well behaved and no yappers. We have the right to ask you to control your pet or find other accommodations. We want to maintain a good experience for all our guests.
The Sugarloaf Pod has a dog bed, food and water bowls and poop bags.

HEATING/COOLING – Each tent has a small portable heater but you will need to bring 1lb propane tanks. We do sell them for $9.00 each if you do not bring any with you. 1 tank lasts 2 hours on high or 5 hours on low. There is no AC but we do provide small fans in the summer (June-Aug).

COMPLEMENTARY COFFEE/TEA DELIVERY – Curve Coffee Roasters in Moab are the beans we use to brew your morning coffee. A french press is left at your door around 7am daily. Tea or hot cocoa is available for non-coffee drinkers.
HOW TO ORDER – A chalkboard menu board is located by the office. Please mark "C" for coffee or "T" for tea/hot cocoa on the order board.
**If this is not marked, we will assume you do not want this service and we will not deliver coffee to you.
Tea, coffee and hot cocoa are available all hours of the day in the communal kitchen. To-go cups are also available.

BREAKFAST – Breakfast boxes are available for purchase.
Breakfast is delivered with your hot beverage the next morning around 7am.
OPTIONS -
YOGURT BOX - $12: Includes a locally made pastry*, 1 fruit, yogurt, granola, honey, and juice. *please choose your pastry
PROTEIN BOX - $11: 2 farm fresh hard boiled eggs, protein oatmeal cup, peanut butter packet, juice and 1 fruit.
BAGEL BOX - $8 – Locally made bagel, cream cheese, preserves and juice.
DOGGIE BOX - $8 – Ground beef, white rice, sweet potatoes and peas.
LOCALLY MADE PASTRY - $4.00 – Choice of Mini Banana Loaf, Blueberry Muffin, Cinnamon Roll.

LIMITED LIGHTING - To help preserve our night sky, we do not have a lot of lighting around the glampsite. A headlamp or flashlight when first arriving will help find your way. Once here, there is a lantern inside your tent.

QUIET HOURS - 10:00pm - 6:00am.

ANIMALS – We have 2 dogs (Crow and Raven) and 3 free-range chickens (Myrtle, Marigold and Big Boy). They may come greet you or follow you to your accommodation. Everyone is very friendly and good listeners so please be kind to our family.

WALKING PATH - We have 22 acres and 1/2 of the property is untouched. Unless we have a private event, which will be posted on the information board by the parking lot, feel free to walk the path and explore. Please do your best to walk only on established pathways. When up at the top of our hill amongst the sage brush you are fine to walk off path. Easy and 1/4 mile.

TOURS/ACTIVITIES – We are always on the lookout for local activities and tours. Please find our current offerings on our website or on our tour board upon arrival.
TUBES – These are available June-Aug. There are 3 lakes in the Abajo Mountains and 1 large Reservoir in Blanding, all within a 30 min drive. Tubes are available at no cost. Paddleboards are available at $20/day per board. Just ask us if you would like to borrow them. *Limited supply.
SUNDAY MORNING YOGA - Starting April 16th, we will be offering yoga classes at 8am for an additional fee.
BICYCLE RENTALS - Coming late Spring or early Summer.


MERCHANDISE – Take home a little reminder of your time here. We have items available at the office or on our website.

SUGGESTED PACKING ITEMS – Slippers, warm socks and beanies as desert nights are chilly. Check our Visitor Guide on our website for more suggestions.

ORDERED ONLINE – If you purchased any add-ons at the time you booked, these will be delivered to your accommodation prior to your arrival. Items can be purchase on site as well.

WILD ANIMALS - There is something wondrous about hearing coyotes howl at night. Glamping, like camping, is all about being outside and enjoying the outdoors. In addition to coyotes, some of the other desert friends we have are prairie dogs, spiders, mice, snakes, rabbit, deer, mountain lion, scorpions, antelope, birds, bear, big horn sheep and cows.

Stargazing - Bring a telescope if you have one as the night sky is one of the best features of this property! No obstructions so you will have clear views of the brilliant sky. We recommend downloading The SkyView Lite app and The Moon app. This will help you determine a full night of stars or the moon cycle (weather permitting).
There is usually highway noise but around 11pm, it slows down.


We are Keshia and Erik and we own this glamp site. We live and run our business here so you will see us delivering coffee, cleaning, building or relaxing here. Our place is rustic and simple at the moment. We are a new business opened October 2020) and as we grow, we will be improving. We will always be working on the property to improve your experience. Most of our guests don't need us (other than having great conversation) but we are never far away!
