This idyllic cabin rental is located near Zion National Park, Utah, and can accommodate six guests. It is on a resort type property so the property is shared, however the cabin space is exclusive. Mingle with other guests staying in the "glamping" tents on the lower lawn, in the community pool, and the boozy bull barn. Drinks can be taken to the barn or pool to enjoy and relax with new friends.

Fusing rusticity, luxury, and elegance into a single seamless blend, the interior of the cabin features a variety of wooden surfaces, stonework, exposed beams, large windows, Western-themed decor, and a mixture of vintage and modern furnishings. Combined with its bucolic setting and its proximity to a variety of natural areas and attractions, the cabin offers guests an exceptional opportunity to escape from the stresses of modern life, reconnect to nature, and explore some of the most spectacular landscapes of the Southwest.

The cabin has three bedrooms and two full bathrooms. Guests will find a king-size bed in the first bedroom, another king-size bed in the second bedroom, and a queen-size bed in the third bedroom. Each of the bathrooms features vessel sinks, a flushing toilet, and a freestanding bathtub—one of them a clawfoot tub, the other one a classic copper tub. Each of the bathtubs comes with a shower nozzle, and one of the bathrooms is also fitted with a separate walk-in shower.

In the living room, guests will find a variety of comfortable seating arranged around a wood-burning stove and surrounded by a generous array of windows. The dining area seats six guests at a dining table set next to a fireplace. The fully-equipped kitchen includes appliances such as an oven, a stove, a refrigerator/freezer, and a coffeemaker, along with a breakfast bar, a supply of spices, and ample room for food preparation.

Other amenities include Wi-Fi and complimentary, custom-made soap, shampoo, and conditioner. Outside, guests will find a wraparound veranda with lounge chairs, a fire ring, a charcoal barbecue grill, a picnic table, and a swimming pool surrounded by chairs and a parasol.

This cabin is located at a glamping site in Virgin, Utah, where it is centrally positioned in relation to many of the state's premier natural attractions, providing an excellent base camp from which to explore some of the most spectacular landscapes of the Southwest. From the site, guests can reach Zion National Park in 20 minutes, Quail Creek State Park and Sand Hollow State Park in 30 minutes, the Canaan Mountain Wilderness and the Red Cliffs National Conservation Area in 40 minutes, the Water Canyon Trailhead in 50 minutes, and Snow Canyon State Park in under an hour.

At the site itself, guests will find a bucolic setting composed of peaceful meadows dotted with tall, leafy, and shade-giving trees. A family of ducks lives on the site, and the neighboring pastures are home to cows, sheep, and horses. At night, guests will enjoy clear skies, unobscured by light pollution, revealing the full splendor of the myriad stars above. During the day, the pastoral scenery is set into relief by a backdrop of sandstone cliffs abruptly up in the near distance.

Impressive as these cliffs are, they are just a taste of things to come as guests explore the surrounding natural areas. Many more such cliffs await guests at the self-descriptive Red Cliffs Desert Reserve, which also safeguards a variety of desert ecosystems, black lava rock caps, mountainous areas, and protected habitats for a variety of birds, mammals, and reptiles, including desert tortoises. Guests can see many more unique geological features at the adjacent Snow Canyon State Park, including extinct cinder cones, lava flowers, and lava tubes.

Closer to the site, at Zion National Park, guests will find attractions such as Zion Canyon, the Virgin River, and the Emerald Pools, along with 148,016 acres of desert, riparian, woodland, and coniferous forest environments, which provide habitats for a variety of wildlife, including mule, deer, collared lizards, cougars, bighorn sheep, and pinyon jays. To the south of the park, at the Canaan Mountain Wilderness, guests will find 44,500 acres of cliff walls, slot canyons, natural arches, mountain slopes, and plateaus crowned with stands of ponderosa pines.

Connecting the park and the wilderness, the Water Canyon Trail offers to take guests on a meandering journey through a narrow corridor of sandstone canyon walls, winding past boulders, juniper trees, gullies, waterfalls, fractured ledges, and patches of lush vegetation along the way. Guests craving more water in the mostly arid environs of southwestern Utah can head to the 600-acre reservoir of Quail Creek State Park or the 1,322-acre reservoir of Sand Hollow State Park.

The cabin is two hours and 20 minutes from Las Vegas, where the nearest international airport is located.

More opportunities for hiking, biking, horseback riding, and climbing can be found at the Canaan Mountain Wilderness, Red Cliffs National Conservation Area, and Snow Canyon State Park. For a truly one-of-a-kind hiking experience, guests can head to the Water Canyon Trail, which will take them on a winding journey through a narrow corridor of sandstone canyon walls, between which they will pass by boulders, juniper trees, gullies, waterfalls, fractured ledges, and patches of lush vegetation along the way.

Sightseeing opportunities abound at all of the natural areas mentioned above, where guests can see Zion Canyon, the Virgin River, and the Emerald Pools at Zion National Park; red sandstone cliffs and black lava rock caps at Red Cliffs Desert Reserve; extinct cinder cones, lava flows, and lava tubes at Snow Canyon State Park; and cliff walls, natural arches, slot canyons, mountain slopes, and plateaus at the Canaan Mountain Wilderness.

For a refreshing break from the mostly arid environments of southwestern Utah, guests can head to Quail Creek State Park, where they can go swimming, kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, boating, and fishing in a 600-acre reservoir. Kayaks and paddleboards can be rented from DIG Paddlesports, which is based at the north end of the park's parking lot. Guests can also go swimming, boating, and fishing in the 1,322-acre reservoir of Sand Hollow State Park.
