This rustic log cabin overlooks a valley of the Rocky Mountains in the beautiful area of Cody, Wyoming, off of the Shoshone River. The main bedroom is furnished with a queen sized bed and a twin bed, so the getaway can accommodate up to three guests at a time. The bedroom has cozy wood-paneled walls and a window that offers views of the forest and wildlife surrounding the property. The en suite bathroom has a standing shower and tub combination with a rack of soft towels and washcloths for glampers to use. On the deck, which is elevated above the lush green pines descending into the hilly valley, guests can sit in the Adirondack chairs or eat a meal at the patio table in the corner. With the peaceful sound of the Shoshone River rushing over rocks in the background, glampers will never want to leave this tranquil mountain retreat.

Each cabin has provided linens on the beds and towels in the private bathrooms. Cabins have air conditioning for the summer months as well. There are available parking spaces in the yard and a furnished deck outside. Family-style breakfast is served every morning in the main lodge. A limited dinner menu is available as well but requires advance reservations.

Guests staying at this property will have a range of choices for entertainment at their fingertips, regardless of the season or the weather. The lodge is conveniently located on a powerful whitewater river, where glampers can raft, kayak, or fly fish with one of the expertly trained area guides throughout the year. The lodge is also next to a horse ranch, meaning guests can rent horses to go exploring on the surrounding national forest trails or through the hilly green pastures that sprawl for miles. Guests can even book a chuckwagon dinner with the lodge, where they will be fed a traditional Wyoming meal cooked over a large campfire and hear stories of the historic “great out west” from a few knowledgeable locals. In Yellowstone National Park, glampers can spend many hours exploring the geothermal springs bubbling in various parts of the preserved land, from the world-renowned Old Faithful geyser to the colorful blue, red, and green hot springs spread throughout the park. There are also miles and miles of trails for hikers and mountain bikers of all levels, and fishing and kayaking opportunities available on Yellowstone Lake.
