In winter, guests can venture to the snow-capped mountains for some excellent skiing and snowboarding in the Snowy Range Ski Area. In summer, there is also plenty to do. Vedauwoo Recreation Area’s gravity-defying rock formations are well worth a visit, perfect for hikers and climbers. Medicine Bow National Forest also offers an array of activities in the summer months. Visitors can hike and bike their way through the rugged terrain before stopping at a nearby lake to cast a line for some fishing. There are even horseback tours of the surroundings allowing guests to truly get in touch with nature and leave their worries and woes behind.
