While it is best known for its world-class skiing and snowboarding, Jackson Hole Mountain Resort offers a wide range of year-round activity options. In the summer, for example, guests can go biking on an extensive downhill mountain bike trail system, which is serviced by the Teewinot ski lift.

Taking a scenic, 12-minute ride on the Aerial Tram, guests can ascend 4,139 feet up to the 10,450-foot summit of the magnificent Rendezvous Mountain. From here, guests can go hiking on trails such as the Summit Trail, Rock Springs Overlook, and Rock Springs Loop. Before or after their excursions they can dine at the mountaintop restaurant of Corbet's Cabin. While exploring the trails, guests may see wildlife such as moose and black bears amid rugged mountain terrain and fields covered in wildflowers. To get back down to the base of the mountain, guests can simply hike or ride the tram, or, if they are feeling especially adventurous, they can float down on a paraglider.

Guests will find an array of outdoor activity options in the surrounding Grand Teton National Park, to which the tram provides access. For hiking, horseback riding, cross-country skiing, and snowshoeing, the park offers more than 230 miles of trails. While exploring them, guests will find many opportunities for wildlife viewing and birdwatching, with hundreds of species of birds and mammals to spot.

The park also has a multi-use pathway system on which guests can go biking, with rentals available from a variety of local outfitters, such as Jackson Hole Sports and Teton Village Sports. Guests interested in fat biking can go on guided rides with Teton Mountain Bike Tours.

For even more hiking, biking, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, and wildlife viewing, guests can head to Bridger-Teton National Forest, which boasts more than 2,000 miles of trails. To see thousands of wintering elk and bison, guests can visit the National Elk Refuge, where they can also go on a horse-drawn sleigh ride.

For aquatic adventures, guests can go whitewater rafting, tubing, canoeing, kayaking, and stand-up paddleboarding on the Snake River and the alpine lakes of Grand Teton National Park, such as Jackson Lake. On the river and lakes, guests can also go fishing for fine-spotted cutthroat trout and a variety of other species.

For dining, shopping, and enjoying nightlife and live music, guests will find a variety of options right in Teton Village, with even more options to be found in the town of Jackson.
