Middlefield

Middlefield is a small town in Middlesex County, Connecticut, surrounded by stunning nature. Middlefield has an extensive history that goes back to the late 17th century, and this legacy is apparent in the charming streets. There's also plenty to do, such as ice-skating on one of the many ponds at the edge of Peckham Park, or heading to the Powder Ridge Ski Area in winter. Lyman Orchards are well worth a visit with the family, to pick apples at the twelfth oldest family owned business in the USA, established in 1741. Or go for a hike on the Mattabesett Trail close to town to enjoy the fantastic views and scenery.
