This property on the shores of First Roach Pond in Kokadjo, Maine, is the ideal year-round destination. Maine’s lakes and rivers are some of the top outdoor locations during summer months, while winter months are for exploring the region’s mountains.

There is plenty to do at the property too, as it sits on the shores of a pond and has a private dock area. Glampers can go fishing on the dock, jump into the water for a quick swim, or take their boat on the pond. On cloudy days, guests can stay indoors by the fireplace and watch movies or play foosball.

Water sports enthusiasts have plenty of other alternatives to choose from, including kayaking, canoeing, and rafting. Mountaineers will enjoy this area no matter the season. Snow-free months are for hiking and climbing the Big Moose Mountain and Borestone Mountain, but as soon as winter snow settles on Maine’s mountain peaks, it is time for skiing, snowshoeing, and snowboarding at Big Squaw Mountain Resort. Other things to do in this part of Maine include going on a sightseeing and wildlife viewing tour or on an off-road or ATV tour.
