About this place

The tent is a canvas tent on a platform. This tent has a queen size air mattress on a frame and comes with all bedding. If your group has more than two campers, two additional tents can be set up. They each have a queen size air mattress that rests on the tent's floor and do not come with bedding.

Water is available from a hose connected to our house. We also provide bedding for the tent, which has a queen-size bed, tiki torches, toilet paper, paper towels, and garbage bags. We can set up two additional tents if you have more than two campers. If you don't want to stop at the store, we can also provide you with firewood for $5.00 per night. The shower is a solar shower, which is dependent upon how much sun we are getting. You can use the shower in our house for $5.00 per shower. However, please wear a mask in our house. The toilet is a portable loo that has a shelter around it. Please dispose of the plastic loo bag in the trash. There are two trash cans, one for trash and one for returnable cans or bottles that you do not want.

Please put your loo bags in with the trash.

Yes, there are bugs. Ticks are a big problem in Maine, especially in the spring. Bring bug dope, tuck your pant legs into your socks, and check your body from time to time.

Also Please:
Check campsite for trash or belongings.
Clean out CampBox (take your BBQ sauce!).
Zip up all tent windows and doors (clasps, too).
Please put garbage in one can and any returnable bottles that you do not want in the other.
Clean up after your dog. Please do not let your dog run loose due to porcupines and other wildlife. Please do not let your dog on the bed.
Clean grill with a brush after use.

The Space:
Picturesque, secluded campsite in the woods, with a short walk to the shoreline of Great Pond.

Toilets: Every campsite is equipped with a camp toilet.

Showers: Every Signature campsite comes with a Coleman Sun Shower. The sun shower has a reservoir that holds up to 5 gallons of water, potentially enough for multiple showers. It's constructed of heat-locking material that warms the water when it's left in the sun, even on cool days.

Interaction with Guests:
Upon check out, you should leave-no-trace of your stay and be sure your campsite is returned to its natural glory! While the host does not charge a cleaning fee, we do expect campsites to be left how they were found. After you check out, take everything you brought in and be sure to leave your trash at the designated location on the property.

If a CampKeeper submits an incident report after your stay that details evidence of trash or damage to the campsite or the CampKeeper’s property, the host reserves the right to charge a minimum cleaning fee of $50. Just make sure to follow the Camper Manual posted at your campsite and you'll be set!

Other Things to Note:
Please arrive before sunset. Beware of porcupines and skunks by keeping your pet on a leash. Keep food inside your secure vehicle or hanging from a tree to avoid raccoons and bears. Please pack out what you bring in.
Please pay for firewood and kayaks through your reservation. Otherwise, it is cash on delivery.

Check campsite for trash or belongings. Please no loud people or parties are allowed. Life jackets are mandatory on the lake as well as Maine State fishing licenses if you fish.

Maine has a returnable bottle and can bill. If you do not want your returnable please put them in the other bin, not in with the trash!
