Additional info

PETS: Must be discussed beforehand. We allow crate trained pets that will never be left alone in the Airstream unless crated. There is an extra fee for pets.

OUTHOUSE: The eco-friendly outhouse is located just steps from the Airstream.

There is a camp toilet for inside use if you would prefer not to go to the outhouse in the middle of the night, You will dispose of the refuse bag in with the regular garbage, never in the outhouse.

Outdoor hanging lights to the outhouse can be left on during the night. They come on at dusk.

FIRES: You must ask before having a fire in the chimenea. Fires need to be carefully monitored. In high danger times the chimenea cannot be used.

Wifi: Password is C0ttages. The 0 is a zero. The metal blinds can interfere with the WiFi signal, so raise them if you are having trouble.

HEAT: The Airstream can be heated with the gas heater quite easily. The regulator is on the wall by the TV. Click the top switch to the left. It is hard to turn on but it will click over if you push hard. Keep the bottom lever to the left to heat the Airstream up nicely, or move a little to the right for more heat. There is an electric heater under the table or in the closet if you need additional heat.

Make sure pillows and blankets do not fall in front of heat vent that is low down on the wall by the foot of the bed.

HOT WATER: The water heater switch is in the bathroom and easily confused with the light switch. Facing the switches, it is on the left. It is ON when the top part of the switch is pressed down. It takes about 15 minutes to heat the water. Turn it off when you go to bed and when you leave for the day or the propane heater will run constantly.

OTHER NOTES:

Quiet hours are from 10 p.m. to 9 a.m.

The deck lights are on a timer but they can be unplugged or turned off. Switch is hanging on the post.

The air conditioner is on the ceiling. If you need help with it, ask Richard.

Talk to us before using the chimenea.

There is a washer and dryer for your use, in the garage, and a garbage receptacle behind the Airstream.

If you need anything, let us know, or if you notice anything not working, please ask us about it.
