This riverside safari tent is located in Harrison, Maine, is the perfect spot for a getaway far from the stresses and strains of city life. With stunning areas such as the nearby Long Lake to explore, glampers have the opportunity to get back to the great outdoors.

The vacation rental comes with a queen-size bed and a wood-burning stove to make it cozy during the cooler months of the year. For extra sleeping space, there is a dome tent that guests can put up. There is an on-site sun shower. Glampers will have their own campfire grill, grill tongs, a grill brush, and a water carrier. Every tent comes with a portable camp toilet, which is a wooden box with a seat that has a bucket inside. The hosts were inspired by the bathrooms on NASA spaceships when creating these camp toilets. Before use, guests must line the bucket with a CleanWaste bag that is provided by the hosts, or a similar plastic bag. After use, the bag must be tied up and placed in the trash.

Outside, there is a small deck with Adirondack chairs and views of the countryside, a wonderful spot to enjoy a leisurely morning cup of coffee before heading out for the day's activities. The property comes with a picnic table, benches, and a fire pit, and is surrounded by private land. Guests will find themselves nestled in trees and near a river with a sandy beach, perfect for a refreshing swim.

This remote rental stays cozy all year thanks to its wood-burning stove and comes with the convenience of a campfire grill, a water carrier, and a sun shower. There is a small deck with Adirondack chairs, while the property boasts a picnic table, benches, and a fire pit. A lovely meadow winds its way through the scenic property.
