The cabin is popular for honeymoons as it is very private thanks to the trees that surround it. There is a comfortable queen-size bed in the cabin and also a day bed that can accommodate a third guest if needed. The cabin has also its own private bathroom where guests will find a clawfoot tub for enjoying a relaxing soak after a fun-filled day spent down by the lake.

In addition, there is a small kitchen area in the cabin where guests will find many helpful utensils to use for cooking up a storm. Guests are invited to enjoy an authentic camping getaway to this fabulous property that can be found on the eastern shores of Damariscotta Lake in Maine. The cabin goes almost unnoticed here since it blends so well with the surrounding pines and white birches, offering guests plenty of privacy on the shores of the lake. The water spans an impressive 4,625 acres and has a maximum depth of 110 feet. Fishers will be delighted to find that it is home to large and smallmouth bass, yellow and white perch, lake trout, landlocked salmon, smelt, pickerel, alewife, and eel.

Many guests like to take advantage of the proximity of Acadia National Park while staying at this camp. The park can be found on Maine's Mount Desert Island and boasts a stunning landscape marked by woodland, rocky beaches, and glacier-scoured granite peaks, including one that measures the highest point on the United States’ East Coast.
