This authentic camping cabin rental boasts a prime setting right on the shores of the expansive waters of Damariscotta Lake, Maine. There is space to sleep a total of six guests in the rental, making it ideal for families and groups. The cabin boasts three bedrooms and is fitted with a double bed and also four twin-size beds, with linens available for an extra fee. The rental also has its own bathroom that offers plenty of privacy and there is storage space so that the group can make themselves at home.
The combined kitchen and living area is a charming space for the group to enjoy catching up after a busy day of making a splash on the lake in the boats provided. As an original cabin from a traditional Maine camp back in the 1930s, when sporting camps and fishing lodges were very popular, the rental is authentic and yet has been upgraded to ensure that guests have no trouble making themselves at home. Glampers will find their own private bathroom and kitchen inside for convenience.
In addition, the property boasts a dock and mooring space for glampers to make the most of the lake. There are also canoes, kayaks, and rowboats that guests are welcome to take out on the water. Plenty of lawn games are also supplied to keep guests of all ages entertained.
Guests should note that there is no Wi-Fi and no TV on the property.
The hosts can offer yoga and meditation upon request, as well as reflexology and paraffin wax treatments.
Bed linens are available for $5 per set and towels are also available for $5 per person.

The water spans an impressive 4,625 acres and has a maximum depth of 110 feet. Fishers will be delighted to find that it is home to large and smallmouth bass, yellow and white perch, lake trout, landlocked salmon, smelt, pickerel, alewife, and eel.
Many guests like to take advantage of the proximity of Acadia National Park while staying at this camp. The park can be found on Maine's Mount Desert Island and boasts a stunning landscape marked by woodland, rocky beaches, and glacier-scoured granite peaks, including one that measures the highest point on the United States’ East Coast. Guests can explore the area on foot or by bike and will be delighted to discover the extensive range of trails that lead through the Midcoast area. For something a little different, guests can also take a ferry and enjoy hiking on an off-shore island. There are many unique plants and animals that call this area home and the impressive lakes and peaks create a breathtaking backdrop for an outdoor getaway.
