This cottage rental in Port Clyde, Maine, was built right by the edge of the water in the 1940s and remains ever as rustic and comfortable—the perfect spot for quiet relaxation and reflection. It can accommodate three guests and features a double bed, as well as a twin-size day bed in the living room. There is one full bathroom, which comes complete with a shower, a toilet, and a sink. Linens and towels are provided.

Inside the cottage, there is a stone fireplace in the front room, and guests will also find an eat-in kitchen that comes with an electric stove, a sink, a fridge, a microwave and a coffeemaker. If glampers need to warm up, cozy up to the fireplace in the front room and/or move around the provided portable electric heater.

Outside, there is a deck with waterfront views. There is no phone, television, or Internet at this accommodation.

In fall and winter, there is a minimum night stay of three nights, whereas, in summer, there is a seven-night minimum stay (from Saturday to Saturday). Early check-in and check-out are not allowed in the high season. Guests who have not vacated by 10 a.m. will be charged $25.00 for every 15 minutes after 10 a.m. that they are in the accommodation.

Upon check-out, guests must strip all beds and leave all used towels in the bathtub. In addition, they must remove all items from the refrigerator and wash the dishes. The furniture and furnishings must all be returned to their original location, as they were upon check-in. All trash must also be bagged and left in the receptacle provided.

Daily rates do not include taxes, additional options, and fees. The total price of the stay will include the accommodation rate, plus a 9% Maine Lodging Tax, a cleaning fee, a dog fee (if applicable), and a processing fee equal to 6% of the rental amount. All fees are non-refundable.

Smoking is not permitted in the residence or on the property.

Because of the cabin’s great location, you’ll have access to a nearby marsh that’s perfect for kayaking and canoeing. Nearby towns include Port Clyde Village, Rockland, and Camden. Activities in and around the Tenant's Harbor include hiking Roaring Sprout and/or Maiden Cliff, going sailing for a day, kayaking in Port Clyde, visiting Monhegan Island, and so much more.

Maine is also famous for its lighthouses, and glampers can easily go touring from lighthouse to lighthouse. In fact, the famous lighthouse from the cult classic, "Forest Gump," is located in Tenant's Harbor! There are also many festivals in this part of Maine, including the Maine Lobster Festival, the Wild Blueberry Festival, and the North Atlantic Blues Festival, to name but a few. Be sure to try the lobster and other seafood while in town, too!

While this property is pet-friendly, not all of the beaches in the area are dog-friendly, so please check each beach's regulations ahead of time.
