Description of Glamping Units
This unique wooden cabin can sleep two guests and is furnished with a wood burning stove to keep glampers cozy in the winter months. Situated in Becket in Massachusetts, this cabin is the perfect place from which to explore all that the Berkshires has to offer: skiing, hiking, and sightseeing. Although the interior is rustic and simple, those staying in the cabin have free access to the main lodge, which is just three minutes away on foot. The main lodge has a fully-equipped kitchen to prepare meals, with a grill and a seating/dining area. Every morning, guests take a scenic three-minute walk to the main lodge where they can enjoy a hearty breakfast included in the rate.
The cabin itself is fitted with a private outhouse, but the main bathroom is also located in the lodge up the road. There is a fire pit where glampers can share stories over a campfire in the evening. Although there is no electricity or running water in the cabin, the host will supply a gallon jug of water and one light. This wooden cabin is perfect for those who wish to reconnect with the great outdoors, and a wide array of wildlife has been spotted from the cabin, including moose and raccoons.

The property offers extensive "display gardens," which are comprised of a breathtaking array of over 1,000 plants. As nature dictates, the changing of the seasons brings a change in bloom, and colors vary vastly depending on the time of year.
The property has a main lodge where there is plenty of outdoor patio space to sit, relax, and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Although the cabin is fitted with a private outhouse, the showering facilities and shared bathroom are also situated in the main lodge.

Location + Surroundings
The Berkshires in Massachusetts is a beautiful and often overlooked mountainous area of the United States. The glamping site is just over two and a half hours by car from Boston and New York City, but this verdant region really lives up to the storybook image of rural New England. Breakfast is included in the daily rate, and can be enjoyed in the dining area of the main lodge. There is also a restaurant at the main lodge which offers everything from New England favorites to vegetarian selections. All food is primarily sourced from the local area.

In the winter, there are over 22 kilometers of skiing trails to be enjoyed at this glamping site, and guests can try their hand at skiing, skating, and snowshoeing. There are many ski instructors who offer lessons for those staying here, and equipment can be hired at the main lodge at a reasonable rate.
There is plenty on offer during the summer and fall as well. During these seasons, guests can bike, swim, and hike. For those who simply want to relax and unwind, the site is surrounded by acres of beautiful gardens. Music events, garden tours, and guided hikes through the foliage take place throughout the summer. Glampers are more than welcome to make use of the wood burning stove, and wood is provided by the hosts. It is suggested that those who are not accustomed to these stoves seek instruction from the hosts because they are sometimes tricky to start.
