This beautiful waterfront cabin near Worcester, Massachusetts, is perfect for a family getaway, as it sleeps up to 10 guests. There are two master bedrooms, both of which include a king-size bed, a flat-screen television mounted on the wall, a walk-in closet, and access to the outdoor deck. One of the master bedrooms also includes a tree-shaped ladder in the closet that leads to a loft area above the room. The other bedrooms have a queen-size bed each. The cabin has four bathrooms, one of which has a jetted hot tub, and the rest multi-head showers. There is also an outdoor shower on the stone deck outside the house, concealed by trees and a stone wall covered in vines for maximum privacy.
The spacious cabin itself is fully furnished and charmingly decorated with unique handmade furniture. With one of the owners being a prolific zoologist, most of the decor is nature or animal themed, from the moose statue in the garden to the wall art of wooden fish lining the staircase. A few of the bedrooms are even dedicated to specific animals, such as the zebra room or the elephant room. The living room includes a 60-inch flat screen television, a cozy fireplace, a spectacular wall of windows with uninterrupted views of the stunning lake, a dining area with a spacious table that can comfortably seat 12, and a 230-gallon aquarium with fish from the lake.
The kitchen is fully equipped and includes anything a guest may need during their stay, including a coffeemaker, a microwave, a dishwasher, a toaster, and kitchenware, as well as a kitchen island that can seat up to eight. The basement is a spacious recreation room that includes a billiards table, table tennis, work-out equipment, a darts area, and a theater area complete with a 60-inch flat screen 3D television and surround-sound. Outside the cabin, guests will find a whimsically landscaped estate featuring stone terraces with lounge chairs, beautiful gardens with fruit trees, an expansive mahogany deck overlooking the lake's waters, and a boat landing.
This property also includes a wooden deck overlooking the lake. Guests can make use of complimentary kayaks, canoes, paddleboards, peddle boats, and sailboats, courtesy of the owners.

Bookings also include a $500 damage security deposit, as well as an additional $500 reservation deposit.
The minimum stay for bookings is seven days. Rentals must be from Sunday to Sunday.

With the property right on banks of the Whitin Reservoir, guests can enjoy boating, kayaking, paddle boarding, waterskiing, or whatever their favorite water sport may be, right at their doorstep. The lake is always beautifully clear and calm, which makes it perfect for any guest who decides to go swimming or snorkeling in its waters to find some interesting underwater wildlife.
Further out, guests can also make use of the expansive New England wilderness, including the vast Douglas State Forest. This patch of woodlands is ideal for any kind of outdoor recreation, from taking a scenic hike along one of the forest's many trails, to horseback riding or mountain biking. For those looking to taking things slower, the forest also has numerous picnic spots and idyllic walking trails. The fun doesn't have to stop come wintertime, as the area is also popular for skiing and snowmobiling during snowy months.
