This spectacular private Massachusetts island is the perfect backdrop for any secluded getaway adventure. With an expansive seven acres of land, several footpaths and picnic spots, guests will never run out of things to do or places to explore. The island rental includes two charming cottages. The sleeping cottage includes a queen-size bed. Outside this cottage, there is a large deck that overlooks the lake.

The main cottage includes one bathroom with a queen-size futon, as well as one bathroom with a shower. The cottage also includes a well-equipped kitchen with a stove, a microwave, a refrigerator, a blender, a toaster, a grill, and kitchenware. There is also a dining area, a loft, a television, and a BluRay player. Out in the yard, guests will also find an old-fashioned pitcher pump. With so many amazing amenities, guests will love this cottage for rent. Massachusetts has many amazing vacation spots, but this cottage on Dodd Island is a guest favorite!

This private rental includes free parking on the premises. The owners will also provide a complimentary 12-foot aluminum rowboat that guests can use to get to and from the property and the mainland. Further out, guests can also make use of the expansive New England wilderness, including the vast Douglas State Forest. This patch of woodlands is ideal for any kind of outdoor recreation, from taking a scenic hike along one of the forest's many trails, to horseback riding or mountain biking. For those looking to taking things slower, the forest also has numerous picnic spots and idyllic walking trails. The fun doesn't have to stop come wintertime, the area is also popular for skiing and snowmobiling during snowy months.
