This splendid vacation rental has its own private entrance and features one bedroom with an ensuite bathroom. The bedroom has a plush queen-size bed complete with fine linens, which will ensure glampers get a restful night’s sleep after a long day hiking through the rugged terrain. There is also a desk where guests can write postcards to loved ones back home or leaf through a magazine. The bathroom has a shower, a sink, and a toilet, as well as complimentary toiletries and quality towels. Other amenities include heating and fans in the warmer months of the year.

Outside, guests will be able to explore the property, which includes a working llama and hay farm and a replica of the cabin mentioned in Henry David Thoreau’s “Walden”.

This off-the-grid retreat has everything guests need for an unforgettable stay. The host provides fine linens and plush towels. The vacation rental is completely solar powered, so guests will be able to charge their electronics and enjoy some modern comforts. From helping sheer llamas to visiting the Norman Rockwell Museum, there will never be a dull moment when staying at this wonderful glamping site. Glampers can help the host with their daily chores and get a taste of farm life. Guests can help sheer llamas, pick raspberries, or help weed the garden, before heading to the replica of Henry David Thoreau’s cabin to read a good book. With many trails located on the property, guests can hike or bike through the rugged terrain and admire the local flora and fauna, including Bald Eagles, deer, and Turkey Vultures. Nature enthusiasts can also head to one of the several nearby conservation areas, including Robert Hill Conservation Area where they will be able to bike and hike, as well as kayak or canoe the nearby rivers. In the winter, guests will have countless opportunities to ski or snowshoe the area before heading home to warm up by the wood-burning stove.
