With the accommodations having waterfront access, guests can spend the whole day by the water's edge. In spring there are stocked salmon and trout. Extensive nature preserves, cranberry bogs, and sandy roads offer places to walk, hike, and bike nearby.
The rentals are also close to Plymouth and Cape Cod's tourist destinations, ocean beaches, wineries, and award-winning golf courses.
During July and August, the next-door neighbor, Pinewoods Camp (a folk dance and folk music camp), invites guests in for a Sunday evening program of folk music and folk dance. These begin around 20:00. To attend, guests should ask the manager for information.
The Tourist Bureau information booth in Plymouth is about 15 minutes away and has tons of information on Plymouth's historic sites, museums, deep-sea fishing, and whale watching.
