This secluded cottage rental in the woodlands of the Northern Berkshires can sleep up to four guests and comes with all the necessities for a woodland getaway in Massachusetts. The first bedroom comes with a queen-size bed and the second bedroom is furnished with a double bed. The modern bathroom boasts a luxurious stand-up shower and a two-person Jacuzzi tub. Towels and linens are kindly provided.
Guests will enjoy a large living space with features two couches and several arm chairs. For entertainment, there is a TV with a few DVDs available, a library of books, and a few board games. The kitchen island offers four chairs for dining and the kitchen has an electric range top and oven, a microwave, a dishwasher, and a refrigerator, as well as basic pots, dishes, and utensils.
Outside, guests will enjoy the use of a furnished deck, a great place to enjoy a couple of drinks in the fresh air. There is also plenty of garden space to enjoy some lawn games. Guests should note that this rental is the upper level of the main building, and there is a separate apartment located on the lower level, not included in the rental and sometimes occupied by the caretaker.
Top features here include a fully-equipped kitchen with cathedral ceilings, a two-person Jacuzzi tub, and a screened-in porch. There is a wood-burning stove with glass panels on the front, which is the main source of heat in the winter season. Guests will enjoy the luxury of having Wi-Fi, private outdoor parking, and unlimited nation-wide calling. Sheets and towels are provided. Outdoors, guests will find a charcoal grill, as well as a fire pit, a large lawn, and a covered porch. The heat source for this house is the aforementioned wood-burning stove. Guests must be comfortable using a wood stove in the cold season. The hosts do provide electric heaters for supplemental heat in the bedrooms.

There is a marked hiking trail in the woods directly behind the house, where there are several beaver ponds and a small stream. This glamping site is located across the road from Starseed Healing Sanctuary and Holistic Retreat Center, which also has a number of trails and interesting spots to visit such as a peace labyrinth. Located just a mile from the house is beautiful Tannery Falls - a series of cascading waterfalls and gorges in the Savoy State Forest. The Savoy State Forest is extensive with a number of ponds and lakes including a swimming area and beach (approximately 20 minutes from the house). This location is an ideal spot from which to explore the northern Berkshires.
The neighboring town of Charlemont has Zoar Outdoor Resort, which offers guided rafting and kayaking trips and a zip-line canopy tour. Berkshire East is a ski resort with downhill skiing in the winter and a zip-line canopy tour in the summer. The nearby Mohawk Trail is a popular route for taking in the spectacular fall foliage. Other popular area attractions include the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art in North Adams, Ramblewild - a tree-to-tree adventure park in Lanesboro, or the many attractions of the Southern Berkshires, including Tanglewood and the Norman Rockwell Museum.
