Description of Glamping Units
This well-set, two-bedroom rental can sleep up to five guests and comes with all the necessities for a woodland getaway in the Berkshires of Massachusetts. The first bedroom comes with a queen-size bed, the second bedroom is furnished with a double bed, and there is a pull-out couch in the living room. The second bedroom also features a screened-in porch with two chairs and a table, the perfect place for enjoying that morning cup of joe! These two bedrooms both face the woodlands.The modern bathroom boasts a luxurious stand-up shower and a two-person Jacuzzi tub.
Guests will enjoy a large living space with features two couches and several arm chairs. For entertainment, there is a TV with a few DVDs available (note: no cable), a library of books, and a few board games. The kitchen island offers four chairs for dining. The kitchen has an electric range top and oven, a microwave, dish washer and a refrigerator. The kitchen has basic pots, dishes, and utensils.

Top features here include a fully-equipped kitchen with cathedral ceilings, a two-person Jacuzzi tub, and a screened-in porch. There is a wood-burning stove with glass panels on the front, which is the main source of heat in the winter season. Guests will enjoy the luxury of having Wi-Fi, private outdoor parking, and unlimited nation-wide calling.
Sheets and towels are provided. Outdoors, guests will find a charcoal grill, as well as a firepit, a large lawn, and a covered porch.
Please note: The heat source for this house is the aforementioned wood-burning stove. Guests must be comfortable using a wood stove in the cold season. The hosts do provide electric heaters for supplemental heat in the bedrooms.

This magnificent retreat is located in the Berkshires and alongside the Savoy Mountain State Forest in northwestern Massachusetts. It offers ultimate seclusion, plenty of private acreage and close access to many hikes, trails, and waterfalls. Tannery Falls are only a 30-minute hike away, there are beaver ponds right on the property and numerous babbling streams, the most popular being Blackbrook Road Stream. There is a marked hiking trail in the woods directly behind the house where there are several beaver ponds and a small stream. This glamping site is located across the road from Starseed Healing Sanctuary and Holistic Retreat Center, which also has a number of trails and interesting spots to visit such as a peace labyrinth. Located just a mile from the house is beautiful Tannery Falls - a series of cascading waterfalls and gorges in the Savoy State Forest. The Savoy State Forest is extensive with a number of ponds and lakes including a swimming area and beach (approximately 20 minutes from the house). This location is an ideal spot from which to explore the northern Berkshires.
The neighboring town of Charlemont (15-minute drive) has Zoar Outdoor with guided rafting and kayaking trips and a zip-line canopy tour. Berkshire East (also in Charlemont) is a ski resort with downhill skiing in the winter and a zip-line canopy tour in the summer. The nearby Mohawk Trail is a popular route for taking in the spectacular fall foliage.
Other popular area attractions include Mass MoCA (Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art) in North Adams (20-minute drive), Ramblewild - a tree-to-tree adventure park in Lanesboro, MA (40-minute drive) or the many attractions of the Southern Berkshires including Tanglewood and the Norman Rockwell Museum (50-minute drive).
