Sturbridge is home to the largest outdoor museum in the Northeast, Old Sturbridge Village. Guests can step back into the 1830’s with costumed historians, a working farm, water-powered mills, and antique buildings. Guests can take part in arts and crafts and try farm-to-table dining. Antiquing is a popular pastime in the area, with unique boutiques lining the streets. Music and theater thrive in the city of Worcester with the Hanover Theatre of Performing Arts and eccentric galleries that host regular exhibitions. The region offers the magnificent Appalachian Mountains sprawling over 91 miles through stunning valleys and hills with adventurous nature trails. Glampers can bird watch, hike, wander and explore nature at its best. Other outdoor activities include canoeing, swimming, kayaking, fishing, and skiing the powdered slopes of Wachusett Mountain
