Every tent comes with a portable camp toilet, which is a wooden box with a seat that has a bucket inside. The hosts were inspired by the bathrooms on NASA spaceships when creating these camp toilets. Before use, guests must line the bucket with a CleanWaste bag that is provided by the hosts, or a similar plastic bag. After use, the bag must be tied up and placed in the trash.

Guided excursions into beautiful Pawtuckaway State Park are available, making it easy to get close to nature. Kayaking, canoeing, paddleboarding, and boating are all available just a short distance away in peaceful Pawtuckaway Lake. During the winter, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing are two perfect ways to enjoy the fresh, clean air. Guests can also make the 40-minute drive into Portsmouth for fine dining and shopping.
