This charming bed and breakfast rental is located close to the Mount Sunapee Ski Resort, in New London, New Hampshire, and has ample space for up to three guests. This attractive room features a comfortable queen-size bed, and a love seat, which can be pulled out to create a cozy single bed, for a third guest. The rental comes with its own private bathroom, in which guests will find a toilet, a sink, and a walk-in shower. Freshly-laundered linens and towels are provided by the host.

The accommodation has large windows, allowing for plenty of natural light, and has lovely views, overlooking the garden. There is an antique mahogany bureau, where guests can keep clothes and other items. The decor in the rental is traditional and welcoming, with pretty floral carpets, silk-style bedding, and light colors. The wider Lake Sunapee region has dozens of hiking trails and scenic walks. From short, easy strolls for the whole family, to expert-only marches up steep mountain trails, there are hikes to suit anyone.

During the winter months, glampers will be within easy reach of great winter sports, at Mount Sunapee, which is less than 10 miles away. The mountain features 65 trails, 10 lifts, and a snowboard park. Mount Sunapee has trails for all abilities, from beginners to advanced skiers.

Those in need of some retail therapy can find a unique gift or souvenir at Georges Mills, which is only two miles away, in Sunapee. Prospect Hill Antiques is tucked away in an enormous horse barn and features 12,000 square feet of antique furniture, fine quality replicas, and decorative accessories. Among the accessories are clocks, ironwork, wooden signs, baskets, and pottery.

Less than an hour from the property, glampers can enjoy thrills and excitement at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway, which is the largest sports and entertainment facility in New England and hosts the only NASCAR National Series races in the region. Event details are available on the NHMS website.

About half an hour from the property, there's a great option for a rainy day, at Dartmouth College's Hood Museum in Hanover. The museum houses more than 65,000 works of art and artifacts from all over the world, including important works by Picasso, and several prints by artists like Rembrandt and Goya. Their collection of historical artifacts includes a mid-19th century Concord Coach, and a large assortment of scientific instruments that date back to 1769, the year the college was founded.
