Guests who really want to get away from it all and live the simple life will be delighted by this charming, rustic wood cabin. Tucked away in the peaceful woods near Mount Chocorua, New Hampshire, this property boasts stunning lake views and plenty of rural character. Up to four guests can be accommodated comfortably in this pretty cabin, with one bedroom containing a double bed, and the other containing a twin, or bunk bed. The feel of the property is one of light and space. The walls are painted in traditional light blue and cream colors, and the large windows let in abundant daylight. The open living room features comfortable seating, a cozy Franklin fireplace, and a dining table with chairs. By night, the cabin is lit using propane lights and oil lamps. There is a refrigerator and an oven/stove, also powered by propane, in the kitchen, which is well equipped with crockery and utensils. For convenience, the cabin has its own outhouse, which is private and well-maintained. Outdoors, the cabin has a fire pit and a barbecue. Glampers can also take advantage of the private beach, on the shore of Moores Pond, the beautiful lake located at the camping resort that forms this property.

Guests can take advantage of some great facilities when staying at this location. There are two bathhouses, with plenty of modern, clean restrooms and showers. Glampers have access to a swimming pool, which is surrounded by comfortable loungers. Guests who feel like a bite to eat can visit the snack bar, and there is also a store on the site for all the essentials, such as milk, bread, eggs, meats, ice cream, and other supplies. For all guests to enjoy, there is a game room, a pool table and basketball and volleyball courts. Those with pets will be pleased to know that dogs are well looked after here. A dog park measuring 15,000 square feet, complete with agility equipment is just one of the treats on offer. There's also a swimming hole, especially suited for four-legged guests.

This site prides itself on being family-friendly, so there are a vast array of activities designed with kids in mind. Children can enjoy organized activities on-site, such as tractor rides, cardboard boat races, horseshoe tournaments, and much more. The camp resort has five miles of woodland walking and mountain biking trails, for those who feel like connecting with their wild side. Glampers can also go fishing or boating on the lake.

In the local area, there are so many activities to enjoy that guests will be spoiled for choice. Mount Chocorua offers the perfect place to go hiking, or have a leisurely picnic. The pretty town of Tamworth, within minutes of the resort, is home to the famous Barnstormers Theater. During the summer months, guests can be entertained by comedy, mystery, and drama productions, performed by professional actors. The theater opened in 1931 and has been delighting audiences ever since. For families with older children, there is the exciting Monkey Trunks ropes course, which offers exciting challenges at up to 65 feet from the ground. Glampers can enjoy a round of golf in a beautiful setting at the Indian Mound Golf Course, which is located in nearby Ossipee.
