This charming yet stately suite in an inn in Charlotte, Vermont, near Burlington, is within walking distance of Mt. Philo State Park and with spectacular views of Lake Champlain and the Adirondack Mountains. The suite is 1,800 square feet with three bedrooms and two well-designed bathrooms and sleeps up to six guests.

The master bedroom features a handmade king-size bed and a wooden desk perfect for catching up on some writing or quick projects. The other bedrooms feature queen-size beds and, like the rest of the accommodation, an antique charm. Both bathrooms are expertly designed for comfort and convenience. One has a gorgeous, oversized tub, while the other boasts heated floors and a marble shower.

Glampers will relish in the gourmet kitchen, complete with eight-burner gas stove, walk-in pantry, Danby marble countertops, and hardwood floors. Not to be upstaged by the immense kitchen, there are three sets of original double pocket doors, antique windows, and original hardware. Of course there are also creature comforts such as a large, flat screen television and superior sound system in the living space.

Outside, the guests can enjoy one of three private porches.

This accommodation is truly the ideal marriage of modern style and timeless antiquity.

Glampers will rave over the complimentary breakfast basket packed with local butter, maple syrup, cheese, coffee, and eggs and ethically raised meats from Greylaine Farms. To further support for local artisans, bathrooms are stocked with homemade soaps and products. The property offers free Wi-Fi, cable television, free off-street parking, and laundry facilities. There is 24-hour assistance offered, but guests still have ample privacy.

Guests have access to a private road that leads to the 280 acre Mt. Philo State Park.
