Location + Surroundings
Surrounded by rolling countryside filled with rivers, streams, ponds, and forests that seem to stretch on forever, this lodge is located in the quiet town of Killington, Vermont. No matter the season, guests will find plenty of attractions in the surrounding area. In the winter, the Pico Mountain Ski Area and the Killington Ski Resort await—the latter presenting guests with the largest ski area in the entire eastern United States. Cross-country skiers will be in luck too, with Killington Cross Country Ski Resort nearby, offering 60 kilometers of trails.
In the warmer months, hikers will be beckoned by the Long Trail and the Appalachian Trail, both of which are within two miles of the lodge. The Green Mountain National Golf Course, the Killington Golf Course, a variety of fishing spots, mountain bike trails, and cycling roads also await. In the autumn, Vermont's famous foliage is on full display, with scenic gondola rides available to better take it in.
The site is about 15 minutes from Rutland, one hour from Montpelier, one hour and 40 minutes from Burlington, two hours and 15 minutes from Albany, two hours and 45 minutes from Hartford, and three and a half hours from Montreal and Boston. Read More

In the winter, guests can go downhill skiing at the Pico Mountain Ski Area and the Killington Ski Resort, and they can go cross-country skiing at Killington Cross Country Ski Resort. They can also go snowmobiling in the area, with local rentals and tours available.
In the warmer months, guests can go hiking on the Long Trail and Appalachian Trail, golfing at the Green Mountain National Golf Course and the Killington Golf Course, fishing at the various streams and rivers in the region, mountain biking, and cycling. In the autumn, guests can take scenic drives to see the fall foliage, or they can take a gondola ride to view it from the air.
