Plymouth

The small town of Plymouth, Vermont, which includes the Plymouth Notch historic district, home to the historic Coolidge residence, is located in the center of the Green Mountain State, and makes a perfect base from which to explore its cultural, sporting and natural attractions. The town is near to characterful and charming New England villages such as Manchester and Ludlow, but also the wild expanses of the Green Mountain National Forest with over 900 miles of hiking and mountain-biking trails that snake through the wooded valleys and rugged uplands of the northern Appalachians. Skiers will also appreciate the closeness to the Killington Mountain Resort, location of the second biggest vertical drop (3,000 feet) east of the Rocky Mountains and the Okemo ski area, a family favorite. For such a small place, Plymouth has something for everyone and a range of elegant, sophisticated glamping accommodations to match!
