The Blackberry Bend cabin, offering a quiet getaway in the Green Mountains in Addison County, Vermont, sleeps up to six glampers. One bedroom has a queen-size double, while the other is fitted with twin beds. There is a futon in the spacious living room which folds out to make a full-size bed. There is also a 37-inch flat screen LCD TV for DVD watching in the living room and a thermostat controlled gas log fireplace.

The Mayan-gold wooden paneling gives the cabin a very warm and cozy feel to it while the 36" wide window allows lots of natural light to enter throughout the day. The cabin comes with a private bathroom with a tub and a shower as well as a fully equipped kitchen that boasts a refrigerator, oven, microwave, and coffee pot.

The hosts provide toiletries, coffee, hot cocoa, and tea. Wi-Fi is also provided at no charge. The back porch has a barbecue grill and comes with patio furniture for glampers to relax and take in the forest and mountain views.

The property has many contemporary comforts including high-speed Wi-Fi. It also boasts a hot tub, campfire pit, bonfire area, gardens, berry bushes, apple trees, and hammocks. Washers and dryers are available free of charge and there is a common area, aka The Loft, for glampers to socialize. The hosts provide complimentary exercise equipment, DVDs, games, books, sleds, and snowshoes. Campfires are offered year round (weather permitting) and firewood and marshmallow sticks are provided free of charge. Each cabin has a charcoal grill located just steps from a screened back porch.

On the first morning of a glamper's stay, fresh baked cinnamon twists are delivered in a picnic basket to guests' front door—still warm from the oven!

Glamping in Vermont means guests will be spoiled for choice when it comes to activities in the area. The Trillium Trail begins at the cabins and leads to a lengthy trail network. Other local hiking, mountain biking, skiing and snowshoeing opportunities abound including Mt Abraham, Spirit of Nature Trail and the Robert Frost Mountain Interpretative Trail.

For water lovers, nearby lakes, reservoirs and rivers beckon. The area is also renowned for its hunting and fishing and there various golfing resorts all within easy reach of the cabins. The Vermont mountain cabins often offer beautiful night skies for stargazing and, of course, those s'mores next to the campfire.
