Owl's Branch, a charming and rustic cabin on the slopes of Robert Frost Mountain in Ripton, Vermont, has been beautifully crafted from wood harvested right on the property. It sleeps up to six guests with one bedroom with a queen-size bed, one room with twin beds, and a futon in the living room that can fold out into a queen-size bed. The living room also comes with 37-inch flat screen LCD TV for DVD watching, as well as a cozy Swedish nook for relaxing or snoozing.
The cabin is well heated with a thermostat controlled gas log fireplace. There are a fully equipped kitchen and a full modern private bathroom with roll-in shower. The back porch is spacious and comes with a barbecue grill and patio furniture. The cabin also has free Wi-Fi.
This cabin is wheelchair accessible and is pet-friendly.
The property has many contemporary comforts including high-speed Wi-Fi. It also boasts a hot tub, campfire pit, bonfire area, gardens, berry bushes, apple trees, and hammocks. Washers and dryers are available free of charge and there is a common area, aka The Loft, for glampers to socialize. The hosts provide complimentary exercise equipment, DVDs, games, books, sleds, and snowshoes. Campfires are offered year round (weather permitting) and firewood and marshmallow sticks are provided free of charge. Each cabin has a charcoal grill located just steps from a screened back porch.
On the first morning of a glamper's stay, fresh baked cinnamon twists are delivered in a picnic basket to guests' front door—still warm from the oven!

A 50% deposit, including tax, is required for all reservations.
A reservation is confirmed upon receipt of deposit.
For reservations of three or more cabins or 7 or more nights, payment is required in full 30 days prior to your arrival and will be charged to the card(s) on file.
For cancellations 30 days prior to arrival date, deposit will be refunded less a $25 plus tax processing fee. If guest rebooks at the time of cancellation, the processing fee will be waived.
For cancellations within thirty (30) days of arrival date, your full deposit will be retained by Robert Frost Mountain Cabins.
For cancellations within thirty (30) days of arrival date AND for three or more cabins or 7 or more nights, full payment will be retained by the hosts.
For cancellations of reservations during Middlebury College events, fall foliage and holidays, payment is required for the cost of the entire length of the reservation and will be charged to the card on file.
For parties who shorten their stay or do not show on their scheduled arrival date, payment is required for the cost of the entire length of their reservation and will be charged to the card on file.
Weekdays (Sunday through Thursday) we do allow 1 night minimum stays. Please request for two nights and we will send you an offer for the one night stay with the adjusted rate.

Glamping in Vermont means guests will be spoiled for choice when it comes to activities in the area. The Trillium Trail begins at the cabins and leads to a lengthy trail network. Other local hiking, mountain biking, skiing and snowshoeing opportunities abound including Mt Abraham, Spirit of Nature Trail and the Robert Frost Mountain Interpretative Trail.
For water lovers, nearby lakes, reservoirs and rivers beckon. The area is also renowned for its hunting and fishing and there various golfing resorts all within easy reach of the cabins. The Vermont mountain cabins often offer beautiful night skies for stargazing and, of course, those s'mores next to the campfire.
