This charming log cabin is based in the town of Royalton in Windsor County and sleeps two guests, making it ideal for a romantic getaway. The beauty of the Vermont Green Mountains is on full display here, with mountain views offering a gorgeous start to the day. There are also acres of private, dog-friendly hiking tracks around, as well as a pond for making a splash.
The cabin is decorated in whimsical decor and provides a stand-alone destination for a weekend or weeks. The cabin sits on the pond and sleeps two with a queen-size bed. It also has private access and is situated on its own private site. Guests will have their own place in the middle of Vermont with enough space to stretch out and unwind while enjoying the privacy.
Inside, there is a loft bedroom accessed by a spiral staircase. The downstairs comes with a full kitchen, appliances, dishes, and utensils. There is a large bathroom with a shower. The living room offers a dinette set, a loveseat, and plenty of entertainment including, a TV with satellite and a DVD player. Additionally, it features a gas fireplace, which provides heat as well as ambiance. Outside, guests can stargaze in the huge night sky far away from city lights on the private porches or by the campfire.

Guests who stay here can hike, snowshoe, cross country ski right from their doorstep. Relax and soak in the calmness while sitting on the private porch. Toast marshmallows by the campfire at night. The White River is one mile away for tubing or swimming. In town, there are several restaurants, a co-op, a convenience store for groceries and prepared foods, wine, beer, and more! Head to the magnificent Lake Champlain and the Burlington Waterfront for plenty of water sports.
In the winter, glampers can head to one of the major ski areas including, Killington, Pico, Stowe and Mad River, just 30 to 40 minutes away. For hiking and biking, the National Historic Park in Woodstock is a go to. History buffs can take a trip to the Joseph Smith Birthplace in Sharon, explore the Montshire and Hopkins Museum in Dartmouth College or spend time at the Shelbourne Museum in Shelbourne.
