This quiet cabin is located in Royalton, Vermont, and can accommodate up to two guests. This is the ideal location for a romantic getaway, with ample outdoor opportunities and the chance for nature lovers to reconnect with the great outdoors. The cabin does not have a bathroom, but there is a washhouse a short walk away, where guests will find toilets and hot showers. Linens and towels are not provided.

Outside the cabin, there is a front porch, a small garden, a picnic table, and a fire pit.

While guests stay here, they will have access to a wide range of activities and a 70-acre farm to explore. Guests are allowed to pick their own vegetables or fruit with one of the farmers while staying, and fruit, herbs, flowers, eggs, and jam will be available for purchase. Guests are also invited to Tag-Along-On-Chores most mornings. Each cabin has a picnic table and a fire pit. Firewood is available for purchase. There is a centrally-located wash house, with hot showers and toilets, and a picnic pavilion for rent by groups.

The following is all helpful information to ensure guests have the most pleasant stay possible:

Arrival time is after 2 p.m. (and after 3 p.m. on Saturdays) but no later than 9 p.m. Guests must check-in when they arrive. Check-out time is on or before noon (12 p.m.).

Children must be accompanied and supervised by adults at all times including tagging along on chores, which guests can arrange with the host for 8 a.m. most days.

Since this is a working farm and because voices carry easily here, the hosts ask that guests are quiet once it gets dark.

Responsible consumption of alcohol is permitted.

Fires are permitted only in the provided fireplaces. Firewood is available for $7 an armload. Guests are asked to not gather or cut any on their own or bring it with them.

Smoking and cooking are not permitted inside the cabins.

Guests help is needed to maintain the beauty of the campground, so the hosts expect their guests to clean up all trash around the sites they use. They also request that guests contribute to keeping the wash house and parking area tidy. There are a trash barrel and recycling crate at the wash houses.

Since this is a farm, pets are not permitted.

Guests are recommended to bring the following: linens, sleeping bags, boots, bug repellent, sunscreen, flashlights (or lanterns or headlamps), and camping and cooking gear.
