On the main floor of this open-concept retreat, guests will find hardwood floors in the comfortable living room, which is enhanced by a wood stove set into a raised, brick-hearth fireplace. Wood is provided by the host to ensure cozy mornings and nights in front of the fire. In the living room, guests will also find a small book nook with an array of reads left by previous farmhouse guests and the host. Guests will also have access to a classic, covered farmhouse porch that overlooks the sweeping meadow punctuated with evergreen trees and wildflowers. Outside, guests are welcome to fire up the barbeque and enjoy meals at outdoor tables and chairs.
On the first level of the farmhouse, the fully-equipped kitchen is open to the dining area and living room, keeping the flow of conversation effortless. In the kitchen, guests will find a stove and oven, refrigerator and freezer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster oven, coffeemaker, dishes, cooking utensils, pots, pans, soaps, and paper products. Thoughtful touches provided by the host throughout the rental are sure to help guests feel right at home during their stay.

Board games are also provided for friendly competition after long days on the slopes. Wi-Fi can be used freely throughout the farmhouse.
The second level of the house has three bedrooms with an accent on comfort where guests will find cozy, seasonal all-cotton sheets, blankets, quilt covers, and pillow shams. The retreat’s host strives to provide a reduced-allergen and extra-clean environment—no feather blankets or pillows will be found in this house. Each bedroom is decorated differently, with a queen-size bed in the first, two twin-size beds in the second, and a full-size bed in the third—perfect accommodations for a family.
The second level features a bathroom with a toilet and sink, and a tub/shower; the bathroom on the first level has a stall shower, toilet, and sink. Stowe, Vermont, is best known for magnificent Mount Mansfield, which overlooks Stowe Village and the surrounding valley. The mountain provides not only an abundance of paths for hiking and mountain biking during the summer but also slopes and winding trails for venturing down on skis or snowboards.
During autumn, the alpine village boasts glorious changing leaves, inviting guests to wander the streets of the charming town before heading up the mountain trails.
Winter is arguably the best time to venture to Vermont, as the area boasts some of the best downhill and cross-country skiing in the world. Mount Mansfield, the highest peak in the state of Vermont, plays host to over 26 miles of groomed cross-country skiing trails.
In addition, this exceptional mountain delivers double black diamond trails that will make even the most experienced skiers sweat. Guests looking to warm up in a less intimidating setting should be sure to head over to Mount Mansfield's’ twin peak, Spruce Peak. At Spruce Peak, glampers will be able to test out their skis on bunny hills until they feel comfortable enough to try out the intermediate level trails.
Although the fairytale aspect of snow covered mountain tops might be missing in the warmer months, Stowe invites guests to return in July for the three-day Stoweflake Hot Air Balloon Festival where glampers can climb aboard colorful hot air balloons to experience the area from above.
