Picturesque, Mountain Suite nestled in Pastoral Setting in Wells, Vermont

Designer Rental in Wells, VT

4 guests • 2 beds

You’re immediately struck by the ambiance and the architectural décor of the glamping unit. This residential ambiance provides a true sense of place. Its open and airy loft-like beamed ceiling beautifully frames this storybook experience. Large windows throughout deliver postcard views as the morning sun illuminates the space shortly after rising above adjacent Northeast Mountain.

The furnishings are interesting as they are eclectic, from an English Pine armoire to a resting basket of vintage billiard balls. Working wooden decoy ducks sit comfortably on a single hand-hewn beam, nearby is a single ten-foot oar from an early 1960s English regatta along with a trove of other interesting artifacts.

Late afternoon, a door from the kitchen leads out to an elevated private deck furnished with a table, chairs, and an umbrella to keep the western sun from warming your cocktails, but you may prefer cocktails at the Main House terrace, seated comfortably in Adirondack chairs watching vultures, red-tailed hawks, and eagles ride the mountain thermals…
