This superb yurt rental is based near Fairbanks, Alaska, and offers glampers a unique getaway filled with outdoor adventure. The yurt can sleep up to four guests and comes with a spacious queen-size bed and an additional double sofa bed. There is a clean and comfortable private outhouse next to the yurt and guests will also have access to a shared bathroom with a hot shower. Freshly-laundered linens and towels are provided by the host, along with complimentary shampoo and soap.
This wonderful accommodation offers a simple and authentic style. The floor is carpeted, there’s a soft plush sofa, and an inviting wood-burning stove that provides warmth and comfort during chilly weather. Meals and drinks can be enjoyed at the dining table, which has seating for all four guests, and the host delivers a healthy, hearty breakfast to the yurt each morning. There are miles and miles of trails in the area for hiking and biking, with the chance to catch a glimpse of local wildlife along the way. Guests might spot moose, beavers, foxes, squirrels, and even black bears. Right from the property, the host offers dog sledding tours and experiences, whatever the season. A team of around 30 dogs live at the property, and glampers can learn the art of mushing or they can simply enjoy a sled ride through the beautiful woodland.
